hi,
i was wondering whether anyone had any feedback on either of these doctors. I am looking to get my BA using the TUBA method, and very few PS in southern California have been trained for it. I don't want to do the periareolar (the possible scarring issues freak me out), but will consider inframammary. I have consultations set up with both of them. I'm not particular about bedside manner, just need to find someone who can effectively answer all my questions, and of course, someone who does a great job. LOL. If you have any recommendations for PS who do great transax work, please let me know! thank you so much in advance!

When I first got here there were a handful or less..

Hey there I had my b.a. with Dr. Kim via TUBA incision...He is so talented and wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints about him

It is interesting how everyone differs in opinion. Do your research and go with whomever you feel most comfortable with. I went to Dr.Kim for a consult and was really turned off by his demeanor, though his work is absolutely amazing! I personally wanted to feel comfortable with my PS and like their work, but its all a matter of personal opinion, i just did not feel like he took time with me as with the doctor I chose, but i cannot emphasize enought how wonderful his work is, his photos is what drew me towards him.

I also am very happy with Dr. Kim. Yes, he did seem a little bit reserved at the consult, but post-op he has been extremely kind, patient, sweet and considerate. He's a really good guy.

I think it's great that he offers patients the TUBA option. If saline had been my choice, I may have done that.

Instead, I went with silicone through the areola. Honestly, I don't know how he did it but I see absolutely no mark whatsoever, even with a magnifying glass under bright light, on either of my nipples. So if you do decide to go with silicone instead, I wouldn't worry about the nipple scar. (He also has tons of pictures online of others with the type of incision noted.)

Another surgeon left me with a nasty scar in another part of my body and Dr. Kim tried to improve that for me. I may need ScarGuard for that, but the areolas are perfect!

Go with Dr. Kim- his work is so beautiful. I am having my BA (TUBA) at 6 am tomorrow morning with him so I'll let you know how it goes!
