Hi girlies. I've been a lurker for a bit, and now I've gotten up my nerve to post
![]() It looks like there are lots of ladies out there in the I.E. I'm making consults right now to find a good PS and wanted to get your opinions. Here's my list so far:
I am looking for a PS that is good with saggy boobs that are borderline needing a lift (like me )

Hi there - I live in Riverside and am using Dr. Pousti - my BA is set for 9/19. I have been very impressed with his office staff and even more so with him. He has an office in Murrieta that he works out of on Mondays. I have been to that office a few times to meet with him. He does do his surgeries in San Diego but from what I have seen and read about him, he's well worth it. One thing, I like that he does is when you go to his office they allow you the opportunity to talk with patients that have recently had the surgery as well as "check out his work". His rates are more reasonable than the PS in Palm Springs!
If you have any questions about him, I'd be happy to answer what I can. Good luck with your choice!

I know a number of girls who went to Dr Bucko in San Diego and my girlfriend won't let anyone touch her but Dr Ambe in OC. I have to say, if I still lived in SoCal Dr Ambe would be my first call. His before and afters are amazing.

My PS was Dr. Ambe (Newport Beach) and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his work. The drive is worth it. He did my rhinoplasty and my BA. If you can't commit to the drive I wouldn't recommend it because he is really into monitoring your recovery. I am two and a half months post-op and have been back to see him about 8 times (with no complications.) His staff is wonderful, his office is beautiful and he truly is an artist.

Thanks girls for the replys. I am going to look into Dr. Bucko and Dr. Ambe. I already have a consult with Pousti. Such a huge decision to be made! Of all the decisions to be made for a BA, I think this is by far the most important one!

Hi mykidsmomma,
I live in Riverside and I too am looking for suggestions. Iv'e been to the office of Dr. Haiavi(?) in Rancho Cuc. He has taken over the practice of the PS that did my orig. BA. I went to Dr Eichenburg in Murrietta. I liked him and the office and staff. He spent alot of time during the complementary cons. He made sure all my questions were answered. I have recieved two different opinions so far and continue my quest. I too have heard great things about Dr. Ambe and Pousti. There consultation days don't quite work with my sched. I may have to make arangements. I do have cons. with Dr Andreasen and Dr. Kearny in La Jolla. I am interested in hearing how your quest for a PS in the IE goes. Please keep us posted in this thread!! Good luck! |

I recommend my PS completely ~ He specializes in reconstructive surgery. I was also borderline lift with one boob but opted not to get the lift just yet. I will eventually like after kids ~ My PS has 2 offices..one in Irvine (where I went) and one in Riverside ~ He's super sweet and takes all the time in the world for you ~ He's double board certified with VERY Reasonable prices. ~ I paid $5600 for silicone and I was even sent home in a surgical bra (no need to go buy one at a store) (that was like 8months ago) ~ to me he's THE BEST
~ I couldn't be any happier HTHhis name is Dr. Smith the link for his website is at the bottom of my siggy

For a previous surgery (not BA) that I had, I was worried about a small detail that turned out to be nothing... BUT DR. Mofid came to the CLOSED office on a SUNDAY. >> SUPER BOWL SUNDAY to be exact just to see me and put my mind at ease!!!
Needless to say I used him for my BA, and he gave me everything that I asked for. Dr Mofid is a double board-certified plastic surgeon in San Diego. Harvard / Hopkins graduate. He is so awesome and caring and responds to all questions, puts you at ease. His office staff is also wonderful. Call and ask to speak to Satara 1st (his office manager), before you decide on a surgeon,,, and I am sure you will want to set up a consult. Happy Choosing!!! |
