i was wondering if there are any women out there that had their plastic surgery done in texas and if so if you could reccommend a good surgeon. i live in the fort worth area. ive been looking into dr. kelly kunkel and also dr. weider in dallas. thanks!

I live in Houston. I had Dr. Michael Ciaravino perfom my surgery. I am almost 2 months post op. He is a sponsor of this site.. take a look at his pictures... they are beautiful!!!

After having my breast augmentation, I found out that a friend's neighbor used Dr. Ciaravino for a breast reduction and also a former co-worker of mine used him for implants. I have asked around and a lot of people know about him and his work. I researched him and could not find anything but positive feedback. I would definitely check him out.

If you are wanting a women, my best friend used Dr. Sabrina Lahiri out of The Woodlands. She did a fabulous job on my friend.

thanks! i've been researching ps but i'm just not sure if im doing all i should be to find out their background. i figure word of mouth had gotta be a good start. i just feel like im not doing enough to find out their background. is there a site you can go to to find out if there are any grievences or complaints filed against a surgeon???
how much did your breast augmentation cost? although im suree i can find that in the other thread!!! thanks!!!

Just so you know, it is VERY important you do all the research on your PS. I had a friend use a dr. that was recommended to her and she ended up w/ complications and had to have her implants taken out. Her PS wasn't board certified... which she did not know and he had several investigations from the Texas Medical Boards. She would have never used him had she known what his background was like.

Good luck and let me know when you decide on a surgeon.

Please check www.justbreastimplants.com/research/. It'll tell you how to verify board-certification, as well as check into their disciplinary history.
