Hi Everyone...

first day on the forum.. I have been researching PS in New Jersey/ New York City area... i have a few recommendations from friends..but not that satisified. So far have 6 recommendations for PS in New Jersey but only 1 looks great so far. Dr Zubowski in Paramus New Jersey. Any one have great recommendations in this area?

I'd recommend Dr. Kolker on Park Ave. (Manhattan). I'm going in this Wednesday for my breast augmentation! WooHoo! He and his staff are amazing. The Dr. is very professional, well educated, classy, he has great before/afters, he spent a lot of time with me during both consult and pre-op, and so on. I've heard that he's "meticulous." And his patient coordinator is awesome, too. She's a sweet heart and will help you with anything and everything.

I went on 6 consultations when I was shopping around for a PS. I have a lot to compare him to. (And no, he doesn't charge 13k for a flat out breast augmentation; I'm getting a mastopexy along with the breast augmentation so mine's more expensive).

I'd also recommend Dr. Engler, also in Manhattan. I went on a consult with him and he seems to be on board.

I just checked out Dr. Zubowski's website. He does really nice work, it seems! He's the plastic surgeon that Teresa from New Jersey Housewives went to.

I highly recommend Dr. Barry DiBernardo in Montclair, New Jersey. He teaches how to do everything and I have seen a whole bunch of his work. He did my moms breast augmentation/BL about a year and a half ago and she looks phenominal. She has absolutely no scars left after her BL which I have never ever seen anything like it, but he is amazing. He is doing my breast augmentation on 6/16/09. I went for my consult and told him exactly what I wanted, he picked a CC and it was PERFECT!! He also offers the 3D imaging of what they could will most likely look like post-op and it helps alot with chosing CCs (as well as sizers).

I used Dr. Parham Ganchi in Wayne, New Jersey, and I can't recommend him highly enough. I had my original breast augmentation 10 years ago with another PS, and my results were unsatisfactory and I had thick, unsightly scars. Dr. Ganchi did my redo in April, and the results have far exceeded my expectations. My previously thick, lumpy crease scars are now fine, thin undetectable lines. He is a perfectionist and an artist, and his credentials are the best you will find. He also has a comforting demeanor, and he treats his patients with respect (unlike other PSs I met with). His office is a very welcoming environment - great staff and atmosphere.

I used Dr. Vincent Giampapa in Monclair and have been very happy with my decision. He is very gentle, extremely supportive and his staff his wonderful. Good luck with your search!

Hi there - unfortunately, I don't have my own before and afters for the recent redo with Dr. Ganchi. For my first surgery, I was really diligent about taking progress photos at home. That was nine years ago. This time around, I didn't take any. I was so unhappy with the appearance pre-redo that I didn't want to photograph them.

Dr. Ganchi has many photos in his office and on his website, and they will also give you a list of references.

Hi - I had a redo with significant repair work and scar revision, so my cost was more than a first time breast augmentation. I'm not sure of his fee for a first time breast augmentation. His consultations are complimentary, so it couldn't hurt to make an appointment.

i woudn't go to any doctor on tv (like zubowksi was) just my thoughts. I had great results with dr. berlet but there are many wondrful docs in New Jersey and ny

thanks, yea im not doing the whole tv doc thing. how much did he charge?

after all was said and done, my implants, and entire surgery came in just under 9,000.

I had a wonderful experience with my PS...Dr.Sadeh in New York City. I wrote more about it in my personal experience story. He listened to everything I told him and he gave me exactly what I wanted. I had a complicated case and he corrected my breast deformity and gave me beautiful natural looking breasts. His prices are really reasonable too, good luck!
