Dr Pousti or Dr. Cambeiro

Hi Ladies,

I was considering going to Thailand to have my breasts removed and replaced but after some thinking, I have decided against it. I am sure it's fine for some but I am more comfortable with staying here in the United States for after care purposes.

I live in Las Vegas, but was born and raised in San Diego so I have it narrowed down to one PS in both cities.

Anyone have any input on Dr. Tom Pousti in San Diego or Dr. Arthur Cambeiro in Las Vegas?

They're both great surgeons. I think what it will boil down to is how close you want to be to your ps.

I used Dr. Cambeiro for my breast augmentation and must say that I was was very pleased with my experience. He's pretty straightforward and to the point but that was also what I preferred. I think he did a pretty fabulous job with my breast augmentation too!

Thank you so much. I would like to hear more about this doctor from you. I have had on breast augmentation and would prefer not to have to get another one.

What was your deciding factor? Did you feel that he took the time to answer all your concerns without getting upset or frusterated? How is he with post-op care?

I went to Dr. Pousti & cant say enough good stuff!.... You will not regret your decision if you go to him( He is a perfectionist & the best)he will continue to follow up on you & be there for you!... Good luck with your decision.

Well, for one thing his credentials really impressed me (you can see them at his website). He has all the proper certifications and trained for plastic surgery at the Mayo Clinic. When I went in for my consultation his staff was super nice. They really took the time out to answer all my questions and made sure that I was comfortable. Dr. Cambeiro was very patient with me and let me go through my laundry list of questions with him. He wasn't pushy and seemed very open-minded. He made me feel relaxed and went through all of the available options with me. There was never a time that he seemed upset or frustrated with me. I'm actually going to see him tomorrow for my one year post-op. I'll be sure to let you know if if anything has changed but I doubt they have. =)

I absolutly loved Dr. Pousti. I'm 2 weeks post op and he has definatetly showed that he cares. I do live way out of state and he accomadates to patients that live far away. I recieved 4 phone calls with just 3 days post op to check up on me. I even got a birthday card 2 days ago. He also really knows his stuff and takes extra precaution in keeping you comfortable and making you look your best! He makes you feel like your his favorite! I totally recommend Dr. Pousti! Thank you for taking the time to respond to me. This is such a hard decision since I have done this once and want to make sure that I get it right this time. Sounds like that it what I am looking for. I hear equally good things about both doctors so I just need to think for a week or so to determine what I want to do. Having my doctor in Vegas would obviously be a plus but I am in San Diego a lot. Does he use sizers during surgery or do you pick cc's?

He didn't use sizers on me but I knew what cc's I wanted when I went in. I know he has them though. He is very open minded towards what the patient wants!
