Dr Daniel Fleming, Australia?

Hi there. I'm thinking about seeing Dr Daniel Fleming for a revision on my breast augmentation. Does anyone know if he has much experience with this? I will be booking an appointment with him ASAP.

I had a breast augmentation done in May 2009 by Dr Steven Liew (Sydney) and my left implant has moved downward and medially (ie. towards the centre of my chest) too much. It looked weird right from the start, but didn't sort itself out as I hoped it would. I saw Dr Liew about it in July and he did, in my opinion, make out like I was being too fussy and critical and then tried to make out that my nipples were a bit wonky in the first place. Sheeh! I know my boobs and I would have noticed uneven nipples a long time ago... I'm not blind! Trust me I'm not an uptight fussy person either, so I'm not prone to being fussy and neurotic about things. I asked him if the implant could shift some more and he said "no". Well since the July appointment the implant has shifted an additional 1 cm downward and medially. Now my left boob is looking really silly. I'm pretty peeved and worried. I have another appointment with Dr Liew in October, but I'm going to get second, third and fourth opinions now.

Dr Liew is a member of FRACS and has done thousands of breast augmentation's (so he said), but still, I do feel he stuffed the left boob up too much. I'm beginning to think that really what does it matter it they're a member FRACS (or whatever it's called). I think it's more about experience, customer satisfaction and how many complaints they've had made against them.

Hi Etsu10,

I have researched Dr Daniel Fleming quite a bit and he is a specialist in inserting the polyurethane (furry brazilian) implants and has written various articles on capsular contracture. He charges about $10,000.

I have issues with cc and have had a consultation with Daniel over the phone and he seemed very knowledgeable.

Good luck!

Def go and see him. He is my PS and i have had no probs at all. Sorry i don't have any info regarding revision surgery but the fact that a consult if free - its worth it!! He is straight up and will tell you how it is. Have you posted pics to see if any of the girls have had a similar issue and what they did to fix it??

OMG thats alot, he puts his price up by about $1000 every year. I had my breast augmentation through him and I got CC, he gave me a polyurethane implant and then I had to have it taken out 6months later and was given another one, different brand and I hate the polyurethane implant. PM me if you would like to hear all my problems from Dr Fleming. You might change you mind about seeing him.
