Wow, I've never see a dispute on here like this before...and I have to disagree with Nikki when she says that you were not being rude. You are totally slamming women who chose to do "your typical D", uplifting yourself when you say your a bit more "eccentric" (not sure thats the right word) with your perception. Dr.Rey, thinks like a vast majority of the world, and is VERY OLD SCHOOL - when it comes to his thinking that your waist should be proportionate to your bust - this has long been the ideal woman figure - they even go so far as to say the perfect measurement is 36 24 36 (not that I agree) But this is FACT, not fiction. Take one of the most sexiest woman in time...Monroe's measurements said to be 35 22 35. This, is a very NATURAL look - so I'm not sure what you mean by you liking a natural, model figure? "What are the ideal female measurements? 36-24-36. Why are they considered to be the ideal female measurements? It turns out that these numbers are not chosen arbitrarily. There is precise evolutionary logic behind them. An evolutionary psychologist at the University of Texas, Devendra Singh, has conducted experiments in different societies to demonstrate that men have a universal preference for low waist-to-hip ratios (the waist measurement divided by the hip measurement). Presented with figure drawings of women identical in every way except the waist-to-hip ratio (varying from .7 to 1.0), most men in Singh’s experiments express preference for women with the waist-to-hip ratio of .7, which is very close to the waist-to-hip ratio of anyone with the 36-24-36 measurement (.67)." Dr.Rey is a close friend of my girlfriends brother - she attended his wedding. I have known Dr. Rey to put in very small implants...implants of all sizes and has operated on women of various ages. Perhaps what you heard was that he'd prefer to do a straight breast augmentation rather than a breast augmentation that needed lifts or had symetrical problems etc...?? But it seems that if you were so disheartened by his behaviour with you, you should have put a stop to it the minute it mad you angry. And lastly, you second message about you prefering "quality over quantity" referring to women who choose D and DD....that is again a very ignorant statement. Your basically suggesting that women who chose D or DD are choosing quantity over quality.... by the by - I have both. My thoughts are, your another PS on here to slam Dr. Rey...but thats just my opinion. All of the women on here are VERY supportive of one and other so I'm not sure this site is a good fit for you. If your decision is to stay on here - pls don't distroy the energy of this site and bring any negative connotations to it that would possibly offend people. Thanks Quote:

The the OP I was not trying to create drama in your thread only defend the doctor you have put trust into. This is a big deal and I just felt it was not right of whatever her screen name is to come in here and put Dr. Rey down. I could have seen it had you asked for an opinion of him but you did not.

I paid my ps for his skills, not his personality, but if he acted the way Dr. Rey does (for example, falling out on the floor and doing pushups JUST before going into the operating room), I wouldn't have ever had surgery with him. My ps has a sense of humor imo, and I like that, but Dr. Rey is...well....just too over the top for my taste. But that's JMO.

I have to say there is a lot that is done on the show, that is not done on his patients in his daily routine. Does anyone ever stop to think, that it is a television show - yes real patients that sent in letters to be on the show - but its a show which means of course things are exaggerated. Its called ratings.. I have been through 2 procedures with him - one on myself and one with my best friend. Yes, he is vibrant but never once did he do push-ups on the floor before operating. Or anything else that was "over the top" He takes pride in his work, has ethics, and morals - which is why I chose him. His ethics, his morals, and his work. His personality was just a plus per say. Anyhow, like I said too many people judge him off the Dr. 90210 show without every meeting with him, talking to him or consulting with him.. They make assumptions of his television appearances instead of him as a real person. I have watched the show and have met him personally. Sure Dr. Rey is Dr. Rey here or there - but like I said television shows reality or not need some extras to get the ratings and the viewers. I guess Im just one that is not judgmental at all - let alone about someone I have never met in my life face to face. Anyhow Im over it.

I'm not being judgemental. Obviously, this is the type of image he wanted to project on the show. I guess, for me, it just shows an extreme lack of professionalism to want to show people things like falling on the floor doing pushups before walking into the OR. But like I said, it's jmo. I don't knock anyone for going to him, just like I don't knock anyone NOT wanting to go to him for whatever reason. He's a fit for some women, and for other's, he's not....just like every other plastic surgeon in the world. And again, for me, ABPS is very important. I wouldn't go have heart surgery with a doctor unless he was board-certified in cardiology, and the same applies for plastic surgery. But that's just me.

I dont think that was the issue. Where in the thread did the OP ask what they thought of Dr. Rey? , she did not so why divulge the details that are better kept to yourself. I could see if she had asked what people thought of Dr. Rey but she did not, it was unnecessary and totally negative when the OP was happy.

Well I am sticking to the fact it was unnecessary regardless of what anyone thinks. I know I would not appreciate it. In all honesty I think its ridiculous this is still going on. I am done with garb, this forum has turned to drama when it was supposed to celebrate the OP's decision to go with Dr. Rey

I didn't start the garb, and honestly, if the OP isn't complaining, why are other people complaining on her behalf? I certainly don't enjoy drama, and I definitely didn't start it. I just tried to stop it when I politely ask that we move on. See how far I got?

I know Dr Rey personally thats why I am upset, it was unfair to judge a good person ok its that simple. Anyways I just made a post about how I am so done here. This forum is not the same. Nikki you can ban me or whatever the hell you like to do that makes you feel powerful.

Nikki - I would like to suggest as an active user on the forum, maybe this particular thread should just be shut down. I know you mentioned to move on or Ill be forced to shut down this thread. I think at this point, its time to just shut down the thread. JMO...

I haven't banned you, yet you are trying to make this about power? Are you serious???? If I banned you, you'd say I was on a power-trip. If I don't ban you, you STILL make it about power. But the real reason this thread got out of control is because someone posted something that a few others didn't agree with, so everyone went off on a tangent about it. All this stuff about how the OP didn't ask for comments, etc. Did the OP complain? NO. The ones that jumped on bayareamom got this whole thing started, so don't play the innocent card now. If people had just ignored her comment instead of making a federal case out of it, none of this would have happened. And now, suddenly, I'm the bad guy? Even this is too much for me to stomach. So, I'll make myself feel "powerful" by closing the thread. Now you have something else to gripe about.
