Dr. Hunstad - Charlotte, NC

Based on my research, he appears to be a great Dr and is who I am thinking of using. Has anybody else gone to him?

Any other Charlotte girls want to recommend their Dr?

I considered him as well but decided to go elsewhere... He did come highly reccomended but his prices and consultation fees were higher and I decided to wait to talk to a couple other places first and ended up falling in love with my guy LOL Though I am sure Hunstad is still just as good as I heard....

The first consultation I went to also came highly reccomended by several of my friends but I was not impressed with the consult and felt uneasy putting my trust in him though like I said I know many people who loved the results they got with him...

I am going with Metrolina Plastic Surgery and Dr. Pratt - He was very informative, spent over 1.5 hours with me and was very tedious about why, how, and what he would suggest and use..... He is filling in/practicing with Dr. Bednar who is EXTREMELY HIGHLY RECCOMENDED but is on sabbatical. Dr. Pratt is not currently Board Certified which originally placed him on my "Absolutely NOT" list but after my consultation and learning that he has done everything/passed everything neccessary for Boards but since they only certify once a year he is waiting for the next certification time to come up I had no reservations! I dont think Dr. Bednar would allow anyone less talented than himself to keep his practice going while he was gone and Dr. Pratt had such great advice, patience, bedside manner, etc. I couldnt pass him up!!

In any case goodluck cause finding a plastic surgeon was THE most stressful crazy thing!!!!

Dr. Hunstad is fantastic, and I would highly recommend him! The $100-150 consult fee will be applied to your ba if you decide to use him. Finances are always a consideration, but IMO, I would not let price dictate your choice in plastic surgeon. Many women will settle for a plastic surgeon they love & is cheaper than others which is great; however, if you really like a plastic surgeon w/ a higher price, I would stick w/ that plastic surgeon even if it means delaying your ba. I went on 4 consults in Charlotte, and I knew immediately he was the plastic surgeon for me. I have not heard of Dr. Pratt, but from the previous post, it sounds like he is def worth doing a consult with as well. Dr. Hunstad is the consumate professional, a ton of experience, extremely low complication rate, and my recovery was so easy. Great experience for me! I do recommend, even though I love Dr. Hunstad, going on several consults. Best wishes on your ba journey. (Think I sent you a pm as well)
