Has anyone had Dr. Revis in Ft.Lauderdale Florida do thier surgery??

Hello Ladies, I just wanted to know who has had Dr.Revis do thier surgery? and what were your experiences with him good or bad?....i need to know...i will be having him do my redo, and due to being let down by my first surgeon i dont want to go down that route again.... I have seen Dr.Revis's work and I am impressed, i have heard only good things about him, and I hope to hear more, it will make me feel even better about my decision...i have cnsulted with him already i just need to get my blood work done and set the date, i hope to hear feedback before i take the big plunge!!...thanks so much!

I am having my surgery with him on friday! So I cannot say quite yet! But if it helps I did massive amounts of research before I chose him. Will let you know how it goes....

for me it was $6000 for the lift with silicone and $5000 with lift for saliene...and if im doing it cash its $300 off so i will be getting saliene for the bigger size 960-1000cc's and a benelli lift with capsulectomy for $4,700 becuase im paying cash, i might also add a rhinoplasty and it will be $8000....if i wanted to do my tummy tuck with that it would have been $12000 FOR ALL 3! now who can beat those prices, and he is a top notch plastic surgeon!

Yoly sends her best! I decided to answer your email because of the technical question regarding the implants. Here goes:

Its Michelle Sanson again, I have a couple more questions for you if that is ok....I was just wondering how long are my quotes that you sent to me good for? I am trying to get vacation around March, I also have to set up childcare and get my husband to get his vacation at the same time, but this is all in a working progress right now, im just trying to set dates in stone.

In general the quotes are good for 90 days, but as long as the hospital O.R. and anesthesiologist do not change their rates then your quote would stay the same. We have to place some sort of time limit on the quote because inevitably the facility will increase their fees at some point in the future.

I also spoke to a lady that is going to have her surgery done with Dr.Revis and she told me about the hotels that you recommend under discount if we have to stay after surgery, I would like some infomationa bout that, so I can look into that and check availablility, and prices.

The last question I have is, Im not sure if Dr.Revis does this kind of procedure, but I am going back and forth about the amount of cc's that I want to get, im not sure I will be happy going 950, but I havent seen what it looks like in my body yet. It could be what I want but, if its not I know i will not be happy, and I would dred having to have another surgery just to fill them more, I have heard of other surgeons that can go back in after surgery and find the valve and fill some more, under local...would Dr.Revis do this type of procedure if im not happy with the size? I know that I wouldent need an implant exchange becuase I will be going for the largest shell anyways, its just a matter of filling it more, if im not completely satisfied, I dont want to go too big and i dont want to go too small, I am a tall girl 5 foot 8 with 39 inch hips and small waist, and I would like for my top to match my bottom....

Don't worry- let's get it right the first time. However, if we don't, it is certainly fairly simple to go back in and add volume to your current implants. I have filled that shell up to 1400cc before.

I had my pocket revision for bottoming out (my 3rd breast augmentation) today with Dr. Revis, and could not be more pleased. I've had a couple of surgeons flat out say they can't fix me, I have to make a new incision, the permanent stitches for bottoming out will probably not hold, etc. etc. but Dr. Revis approached the problem with incredible confidence and kindness. He said he could do exactly what I asked for, no problem, with his internal bra technique. Last but not least, he has the best bedside manner of any PS I have ever consulted with (and since this is my 3rd breast augmentation, I've consulted with many.) Even his e-mails to my sometimes stupid questions are long and thorough, guiding me every step of the way!

He confidently recommended a size when I hesitated between two very similar implants, a perfect decision now that I look at myself in the mirror. When I tentatively brought up liposuction to the hips, flanks, thighs - I'm 5'4 and 125 so not overweight, but I still store pockets of fat despite a rigorous lifting/cardio regimen - he made me feel very comfortable and I did not feel like he was judging me at all (I assure you, this has been a problem with 2 other surgeons I consulted with). I decided to go ahead with the revision and liposuction together, and he quoted me a very reasonable price especially considering his expertise. Not only is he famous for his breast revisions, but he is very well-known for his skill at body contouring, liposuction, gastric bypass, tummy tucks, etc so I knew I was in excellent hands.

I had my revision this morning, and took a peek at my redone boobs about 30 minutes ago - I kid you not, I thought I was going to tear up! This is my 3rd breast augmentation and I am only 20 years old... I did not expect my journey for boobies to be this long, painful, and expensive, and I am beyond happy to find a PS who finally has done the job correctly. This is no easy feat because surgeries get more and more challenging for the surgeon as you rack up these revisions! They are the perfect width, projection, volume, and placement - everything I had hoped for in my very first breast augmentation.

He also has an amazing office staff that will go the extra mile for you. Yolie was with me every step of the way, helping me out with convenient pre-op and post-op times, hotels, flights, etc. so that I never felt stressed out over the daunting task of traveling for a surgery all by myself. She stayed much later after the office had closed without any complaints or attitude when I was having a hard time getting my payments to go through. And after the surgery, Dr. Revis arranged for one of his nurses to sign me out, pick me up at the hospital, and drive me to my hotel. Amazing! Almost 50% of his patients are from out of town and travel to see him, so the office is very competent with special circumstances and travel arrangements. Even the hospital nurses at the medical center only had great things to say about him and his reputation - they joked that all of them called him "Dr. Revise."

From my first contact ever with Dr. Revis over e-mail to my revision today, I kid you not that it has only been two weeks. I told him I needed it done ASAP during Thanksgiving week, and his team delivered! He even gives you his private cell phone number for your peace of mind and in case of emergencies, which is very rare for a surgeon especially over Thanksgiving.

I realize that this post is super long, but I had to share my experiences with an awesome PS that might have finally put an end to my $25,000 boobie journey.

ferox, what exactly did Dr. Revis 'change' about your breasts besides the bottoming out? Did you have the bottoming out on both sides? What size implants did you have before, and how have they changed??? Why did you have so many prior operations?

I hope you don't mind me asking. I am going for my 4th revision on Monday Dec 1, and I am just curious what your dislikes and problems were beforehand, and what Dr. Revis did and what implants he used instead. Also, did he go through your aereola or bottom creases?

I did have my surgery with Dr. Revis, however it was not a revision... Luckily I live local and chose him to do my breast augmentation,Lipo,MTT. Everything that has been said about Dr. Revis & his staff above is true, they go above and beyond for the patients. I am very pleased with my surgery! Happy healing to those who are recovering... Bottoming out was the #1 reason I went to Dr. Revis because he does so many internal bra procedures. Secondly, I wanted a slightly teardrop-shaped hang to my breasts - previously with my other BAs, there was absolutely no breast that hung beyond my breast crease (feel free to view my private album). Everyone told me this was impossible because my breasts originally did not have any hang to them and I had too little breast tissue, but Dr. Revis said that his internal bra could help with that. I am Day 1 after my revision, and there is the slight droop that I wanted already!!!

My first surgeon overdissected the pocket and lowered my crease too much, as well as giving me terrible areola incisions.
My second surgeon said he couldn't correct this without another incision (crease incision), and that a wider implant could help correct the look of bottoming out. The implants ended up being too big for my liking.
And Dr. Revis, my third surgeon, corrected all of the above and even went through my existing incision, the areola.

I went from 421/257 to 400/425, and was trying to choose between that and 375/400. THANK GOODNESS Dr. Revis persuaded me to choose the bigger implant - this size is perfect for me, and any smaller would have given me massive though irrational boobie greed!

Hey there, Yes! I have chosen him, I will be going down to ft lauderdale in the next 3 weeks to put my deposit down and set a date! I want to have a rhino and my revision done with him, but im not sure about the rhinoplasty, I havent seen many pics of his work when it come to the face, I know his revisions and body contouring are out of this world, maybe Ill need to go to a facial plastic surgeon instead? what do you think?

I booked my consult and surgery today with Dr. Revis for a revision for bottoming-out....I sure hope everything is true!!

Every other doctor I have seen kept giving me the run around (you will be fine..it won't get any worse). So, I finally had it, e-mailed him pictures, and now I am going to get fixed! Can't wait...

I seen a few patients in office who had rhinoplasty done, (PO) although I didnt talk to them I did overhear one saying to her dad how thrilled she was! He is however one of those doctors who put you in touch with previous patients... You already know us from our breast augmentation's you should get some numbers and speak to some Rhinoplasty patients... Just a thought!
