dr. corbin in California

anyone use Dr Corbin for their breast augmentation?

i have my first consultation with him next week. His website has tons of info and i'm pretty confident i want to use him. but this is my first and only consultation and i think i'd be okay with only going to one if, after i meet him, i feel good about the surgery.

another plus is that he is in brea and its a five min drive back home. since ill be going to the surgery alone i figured it would be better to be close to home.

any opinions?

I have friends that got theirs done with him. He's been around for a very long time. Very experienced an does a good job. The only thing is that he doesn't have the best bedside manners meaning that he's not the friendly attentive type. But for sure he knows that he's doing! I went to get a consultation at his office before.

Oh by the way, u should not drive yourself home even if it's 5 min away. U'll be so drugged out plus you'll even need help getting in and out of the car. Someone would need to open the doors for u and ya. U won't be very functional after surgery until the 3rd day.

thanks for the info...hmm, i think if he's not very friendly that might turn me off since im already nervous as it is...but he DOES seem to know what he's doing.

as for going home after the surgery, i was considering taking the bus. i dont really have too many options. hmm, i may also see if my best friend would can get off work, he lives kinda far, but im sure he'd help if he could.

Sweetie I do not think that they will even do the surgery with out a driver to be there for you. I know my PS is very strict on that! Do you have somebody to take care of you after? You will not be able to take care of yourself! My PS does free consultations. He is out of Mission Viejo if you are interested I can give you the info. Best of luck to you!

Thanks dcbgirl could you send me his info? And how much roughly he charges?

I think ill ask my friend to give me a ride if possible. I really don't have anyone taking care of me since I live alone and my bf will most likely be deployed when I get it done. It may take some bribing but I'm sure I can find someone to drive me

Dr. Corbin was one of my top 3 choices for PS. I was really excited to goto his consult because he is so experienced and one of my good friends had her breast augmentation done by him and they look super natural...I waited 1.5 hours in the waiting room!!! It was just ridiculous! Once I got in I had to wait another 30 min and then I got a change to talk to him for maybe 2-5 min! This is the norm with him, all of my friends who have seen him has said that same thing about waiting and waiting them meeting with him for a short period of time.

The PS I chose is so attentive! He spent so much time with me at my consult it took me by surprise! Dr. Corbin's office was a big turn off. imo

An old friend of mine went to Dr. Corbin (his Beverly Hills office) years ago, and she had fantastic results. One of the biggest things I noticed is how natural they looked -- so perfect and proportional on her body.

If you want to check her twins out, she ended up being Playboy's Miss November 2008

Google her images, and I have no doubt you'll be confident about going with Dr. Corbin!

Hmm..what did he say during those 5 min? I'm wondering mostly if ill be able to get a price quote and maybe try on sizers?

Roma2010 thanks for the info! Ill check it out when I'm not at work. I noticed he does a lot of models.

Went to a consult with him he is pretty expensive IMO and very impersonal(also had to wait)...also if I'm not mistaken they do not do the surgery in Brea it's actually out of his Beverly Hills location you might want to verify that..Good Luck to you..

He basically talked about the procedure and what outcome I wanted. I don't think you will be able to try on sizers. He was not that expensive, I complained that I was waiting too long and even told them I was going to walk out and they were goign to give me $500.00 off! I told them I dont base my decsion on money I base it on how I feel with the surgeon and how comfortable I am with him/her. If you have a quote from a crediable PS then he will match that quote.

Don't let us sway your desicion. He does great work! I just want a surgeon who I am comfortable with and gives me time to perform my surgery!

It is called Aesthetic Care My PS is Dr. Allan Kane. He does the surgery in San Juan Capistrano, but has a few other offices he does consultations & post-op appts. at.I have had 3 breast augmentation's with him. My last was in 2003, and I payed $3,700.00. I love him & will be going back to him for my 4th breast augmentation. His bedside manner is great, and you will not feel rushed. Good luck to you

If you decide to get the breast augmentation, DO NOT drive yourself. No questions asked. It is NOT even do-able. I had my first one and boy, I felt so woozy afterward, and it actually felt like I was drunk from all the anesthesia, meds, etc etc. Please do not do that. I highly suggest you find someone to bring you.
I am scheduled to have my redo done with him. He's pricey, but certainly not as pricey as other well-known Board Certified in Plastic Surgery surgeons in the Newport Beach & Bev Hills area. I called many other offices such as Dr. Shamoun, Dr. Grover, and Dr. Ip who charge way more than Dr. Corbin. I highly recommend him. I can't wait til I get mine re-done =) Although he may seem impersonal at first, he is quite funny. He's has an extensive history of experience and his staff is awesome; they answered all of my questions. I guess I was lucky since I had the last consult of the day, so they had more time to talk. There was no one in his Brea office when I went, so it wasn't crowded at all. They DO perform the surgery at the Brea location as well and has a longitudinal history of doing breast augmentation's-- that is his expertise, along with many other surgical procedures. If you want to f/u with me, let me know-- I'll give you a heads up since I'm having it done at the end of this month =)
