Dr. DeWire or Dr. Tattlebaum VA/MD

I've seen a few girls on here that have been to him - I just set up a consult with him today. Can anyone that went to him tell me how you felt about the outcome of your results and/or anything negative at all about the experience? So far, everything I've read about him has been awesome. I've got a really good feeling about him, I can't wait for the consult!

Also, the same thing for Dr. Tattlebaum in Maryland - anyone go to him? I already had a consult, but I couldn't tell if he was the right PS for me so want to 'shop around'.

Thanks for your help!

I went to Dr. DeWire. My surgery was on 9/15. I can honestly say I was very very very happy with the surgery as well as the results. One thing I really liked about him was that he was completely honest about what he could and couldn't do. I didn't walk in with a size in mind, we talked about it and he said, by the shape of your natural breast, rib cage and chest asymetry, this is what I think will look best. And you know what, they do. I was a 34B, now I'm a 34D and I love it. He is a no bullsh&t kind of guy and I really liked that.

Hi Gypsy, I don't believe you will see one bad word about this PS, from what I know he is just wonderful, Nikki, the owner of the site used him as well as some other gals here, and they love him!

I LOVE Dr. DeWire! He is awesome. I think you really find out what a surgeon is all about when you have a problem. I had capsular contracture, and I couldn't have asked for Dr. DeWire and his staff to be more kind than they already were. They were great, and he did get me fixed too! I highly recommend DeWire. I know literally DOZENS of girls that have been to him, and they all love him. He's very down to earth, he's funny, he's very thorough, and he's a perfectionist. Breast augmentation is his specialty. He does about 300/year, and he's VERY good at it.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Thanks for your info on Dr. DeWire everyone! And thanks for such a great website/forum, Nikki! You're website has helped me so much, it couldn't be any more informative! I actually decided on a consult with Dr. DeWire because of everything I've found here at your website. My consult will be November 16th. I'm hoping he will be able to take a good look at me in my rice boobs and pick a pretty accurate implant size from it because I think they would look perfect!

I don't know anything about Dr. Tattlebaum, sorry...
Dr. DeWire Although everybody here has already said pretty much everything, I'd also LOVE TO EMPHASIZE that he is absolutely GREAT.
I'm more than happy with his work & my result, really - I have no complaint at all. All the ladies @ the office were so sweet & helpful, too.

I don't have any plan on re-do but if I were to get it done, that must be done by Dr. DeWire, nobody else

*grins* My vote goes to Dr. Tattelbaum - I had my redo surgery YESTERDAY with him at the clinic, and he was awesome I wish I'd been ablet to see him for the first augmentation, but hey! *shurgs*

Not to mentin the staff there - espcially Claudia in the surery center - she was GREAT!)

I also picked his Rockville office so it's easier for me to do my post op consulatations wthout have to drive all the way down there.

Which remids me.. I need to redo my siggy to see what I am now.... *grin* Can't wait for these bandage and bra thing to come off I think my label is diggig it my back and makin it itch!

Hey there!

How's your healing goin'?

Sorry it took me a bit to respond - I was out of it a couple days since I had so much work to catch up with, and of ALL things, the ANTIBIOTICS were knocking me out... everything else was fine!

Yup... I definitely went from 400's to the 650's... I almost said "700's" but Dr Tattelbaum and I compromised - he said the 600's would be big on me - said the 400's were a nice size, but I'd already told him they were smaller than I what I'd wanted in the first place, and I told him I was looking at the 700's, so we agreed on the 650's. He did ask me right before the surgery if I was "sure" I wanted them that big, and quite honestly, part of my head is saying "you shoulda got the 700's!" *winks*

Go Boobie Greed!

I figure the next time it hits me, it will be after I have kids and I'll end up doing a lift at the same time *starts saving $$$ now*

Just in case you decide to go bigger - the healing is SO much easier.... I stopped taking pain meds on day 2 as well as being able to get my arms up above my head on day 2 - might have managed it on day 1, but wasn't trying to do any "testing", I was able to drive on day 3 (and I have a manual transmission car) - I think the most annoying thing right now is the antibiotics..... they're putting me to sleep!

Wow, it sounds I did a good job picking these two PS's for my consults from everyone's experience then! I go for my Dr. DeWire consult in one week, and I've already met with Dr. Tattlebaum so I'll probably know next week at this time who I'm going to go with. For all of you that have been to both doctors, did either PS have you wear a sports bra after your surgery and did they give you them or tell you which ones to buy?

Hey Everyone!

I'm from Rockville, Maryland, new to this forum and was thinking about getting a breast augmentation done but i'm soooo scared =( haha. Basically, I don't really know much. I haven't done a consultation but was definitely looking into Tattlebaum and Dewire. I was wondering how much you guys paid for yours and if you're allowed to do payments? I have some saved up but I'm not rich haha. Well anyways, I love how encouraging you guys are! Can't wait to start posting some more! Thanks!

I went to both doctors for consult and here's my impressions and results:

Dr. T had saline implants to try on and said around 330cc or so would be good on my frame. He spend a some time with me as I tried different sizes on and I felt he'd be great to go to. He said I would have to get HPs because my ribcage is too narrow. He slapped a pair of mods onto my chest and showed me how they came out the sides and said they'd be too wide and you'd see lots of rippling.

Then I went to Dr. D just recently for the sake of shopping around and I heard so many good things about him. Dr. D had an awesome computer program so he can take a picture of you and then show you what you'd look like with bigger boobs which was so cool! He spent a lot of time with me explaining everything. The first question I asked was about the HP, but he said that the mod or mod + would be better for my body, his thing is making them look really natural. I just feel like he's the right PS for me, but I'm sure Dr. T is really great too - I just didn't find anyone on here that went to him and there are lots of girls that went to Dr. D and have shown me their beautiful after pics!
The cost was pretty close to the same. I haven't set up surgery date yet as I need to get a few questions answered about silicone, but I'll be setting it up for March pretty soon! YAY!

Thumbs up Tattelbaum

I have Dr. Tattelbaum VA/MD and he has been great. He did a really great job of making sure I had the size that was most flattering to my body and was a good ratio to my hips, ribcage, etc.

I would have gone smaller if not for him and that would have been a BIG (no pun intended) mistake. I had a really good recovery immediately post-op, and his prices were very reasonable considering his abilities. I had to wear a very soft sports bra with hooks in the front and an ace bandage for about the first week after. Then, he had me lose the bra (only non-underwire if i need it) and just use the strap thingy (the band to push down) and to start massaging.

We were a bit concerned that I might get double bubble due to pre surgery constriction, or that i would get rippling due to the fact that i went with moderates, but i have yet to see any signs of either. The whole area is and was very clean and no bruising! I am only at 3 weeks, but I am confident in my choice. Hope that helps!
