Do you tell or not?

Hi ladies I wanted to take a little poll.

Do you tell people about your breast augmentation or not?

I voted I'll tell anyone who askes... honestly, especially if someone already knows me, I will tell them upfront and it's not a big issue. If it's someone I didn't know prior to my breast augmentation - it just isn't something I would bring up. My kids have told friends, my entire family knows as do all my friends.

I've only told a very select few and the reason being that a breast augmentation is a very private matter to me. I wouldn't tell just anyone for the same reason that I wouldn't tell people my favourite sexual position or that I shave my pubic hair or that my hubby wears my underwear on his head (no he doesn't do that but you get my drift)

I don't just volunteer the information to anyone. However, I don't care if anyone knows. I am not ashamed or embarrased. I am proud of the decision I made for myself. It is a big decision and for me was and still is a huge process. I am proud of myself for getting through it all. If someone doesn't like it, it is ok with me, because I did it for me and me alone. And if anyone asks me if I have had it done, I am not the type of person to lye about it. Just like I don't lie about my hair color. Just my take on it all. To each thier own. We all handle it differently, and I respect all you ladies for your personal choices.

You're funny Karaoke but I agree with you.
Although it is no longer a big issue or concern for me, I still feel somewhat uncomfortable to openly talk about my breast augmentation to ppl unless it is for medical reason. There's always ppl who makes big deal out of it & put you in an awkward situation no matter what, or making you uncomfortable. I'd just generally avoid engaging into a conversation that may lead to my breast augmentation.

I feel the same way.
The guy I'm dating (2 months) told me that he had told his buddies and brothers that I had my surgery and I got really upset. He was surprised and didn't think it was a big deal but I am such a private person. I am wondering if it's a sign of immaturity on his part, disrespect or if it's just a guy thing......
I clarified to him that he can be as open as he wants about himself but that he needs to respect my privacy in the future.

I told maybe 10 or so people before breast augmentation. Now that it's getting warmer and I am more used to them, my clothes don't hide my new boobies anymore. So I know more people have noticed. I had some ask questions that I deflected with talk of how great padded bras are nowadays. Did they believe me? Who cares, they dropped the subject, at least. I've also had friends I hadn't told ask recently. And I was open about it with them. I'd honestly prefer to be asked up front than be whispered about behind my back. I am so happy I did this! I think that shows when I talk about it. I haven't gotten any negative comments yet. Everyone has been very complimentary. As far as telling or not, there's no right or wrong way. It's whatever you are comfortable with.

I don't bring the subject with anyone. I figure most people don't want to hear me talk about my boobs! TG for this site. We can all talk boobs to our heart's content!

I'm proud. I don't go announcing it, but if someone asks, I'm not gonna lie. I say, "They look good, they feel good- who cares if they're natural?"

I've told everyone I know!. I was just so excited to have this done and I really don't care what people think. The hardest person to tell was my mother in law and when she started lecturing me I said, listen I'm doing it wheter you like it or not.

I've only told a few close friends and family, but if someone I know asked I would not hide it.
I think for someone who knew before I had boobs it's pretty obvious that I'm bigger now, so I don't see the point in lying.
They will know I am liar.
Now, if someone that I don't personally know asked, I'm not sure what I would say.
It hasn't happened yet so I guess it depends on who the person is and how they come about it.

I told only those whom I'm very close to. If anyone asks, I don't have a problem talking about it - I'm not ashamed or embarassed. I still think it's a very personal thing however. It's not something I would go announcing to everyone - but that's not who I am anyway. I just think you should do whatever you're most comfortable with.

I told my family, close friends and people I work with. I don't care if my friends tell people and my husband already has, so that doesn't bother me. I haven't been asked by anyone that doesn't already know. I guess if I run in to an old high school friend or ex I would them if they asked. I don't think I'm gonna go up to strangers and tell them, though. lol

I voted I'll tell anyone... But I really don't! It's not that I mind people knowing and if I'm asked I usually say tell the truth but at times I just don't feel like discussing it at all. At first I decided to just avoid the subject because people love gossiping but then I figured it's just too much trouble, let them gossip. As long as nobody tells my family!

I told just close friends and family. And to some of them I didn't tell them until the ask me. oh my yoga instructor and personal trainer at the gym...I needed to tell them because I didn't wanted to harm my new boobies with the exercises. But no I don't announce the world that I have them, but if someone asks me I won't lie...unless is a stranger.

In the beginning it was just family on both sides. Now, it's pretty much anyone/everyone if it's brought up in conversation. In the last couple of months I've forwarded a few ladies to my PS for their own breast augmentation's.

I dont care who knows... I dont go round the supermarket and announce it over the tannoy or anything but if the subject comes up even in company I dont know very well I'm happy to tell all... the first question most people ask is did it hurt? I tell them a big fat YES!! x x

I know it would hurt me at work if boss/coworkers knew- I don't think this is right but it just is I also wish i could wear jeans and flip flops to work too but that's not going to happen (yet!) (that banana is me on the inside no matter how "grown up" i have to act on the outside)
