I put my deposit to hold my appointment on credit card ($500) because I didn't have enough cash on me and I didn't want to lose my date. The rest I'm paying cash. I'm almost debt-free, so I didn't want to rack up any more debt.

LOL! I don't think any of the PS's in that medical center in Newport Beach offer a cash discount. I put mine on a credit card at a 0% rate and I'll either transfer it to another at 0%, put in on another at a low % til paid off, or just pay it off (ouch!)...haven't decided.

I pay as much as I can on my credit card because I get travel miles. But I never charge more than I can pay each month and have never paid a finance charge. The free trips don't matter if you're paying for them 10 times with a finance charge! So yes, I charged my surgery and am happy to have accrued another 6800 miles towards travel with my boobs sometime in the future!

My parents paid cash, too. Twas a gift for graduating with my Bachelor's degree. Very generous of them.

I didn't get a discount for paying cash though. Would have been nice, but what can ya do?

Since I work at the hospital where I got them done. I get payroll deduction for mine. Interest free and divided over one year. Not a bad deal!!!!
