My PS has been in private practice for 6 yrs. DH and I are both very comfortable w/ him and excited about my upcoming BA . . . MIL on the otherhand isn't so happy. She's worried because I'm not going to the most known and most expensive PS in town. She says he's relatively unknown in town and she doesn't like that. So I thought I'd throw it out there . . .

mine has been in practice for 4 years. she *has* been in the media (from beauty mags to the news) which IMO has absolutely no barring on a PS' medical qualifications.

My PS has been practicing for over 20 years. My mom actually got her BA done by the same PS about 20 years ago. He did a fantastic job of hers, so I had absolutly no issues going to see him for my own.

My PS has been in business for 30+ years. That was something that really mattered to me. I wanted someone with a LOT of experience.
