DId you go with the implant size your ps recommended?

Or did you choose implants that were larger or smaller than what was recommended to you by your ps?

Just curious because each of my BAs I went smaller than what my ps recommended and I've wondered if others have done the same?

I did and thank god! I WAS going to go smaller I was afraid of being TOO big, and I told him that, I told him I wanted to be a full d............and that is exactly what I am, in some bras a DD.

I went with what my PS recommended and glad I did ~ I wanted 350cc's to begin with...like the way the sizers looked on me and my PS said it was the max my body could handle...so thank goodness I got what I wanted...although now that they're inside I wouldn't have minded 375cc's hehe but then I would risk extra complications so it's allll goooood hehe ~ also with my slight asymmetry...he suggested 350cc in the smaller one and 325cc with the larger one...i'm so glad I went with what he said because I thought 350cc in my smaller one and 300cc looked fine in my bigger one (but those were testers) ~ he eye-balled it and told me this ....so I'm a happy camper

my PS asked what overall look i wanted, and then recommended i go w/the hp's. but my cup size was all my choice (of course she offered suggestions, and whatever limits i may have, but the final choice was still mine).

im going with what he reccomended, mostly bc its the size i had already decided on in my own head...guess i got lucky that we were on the same page

My ps didn't actually recommend a specific size. With my height and weight I could go pretty big and not be all boob. We discussed the size I wanted to accomplish and he figured the cc's, type, fill amount, etc. But the day of surgery I told him I wanted to be bigger than previously discussed but not bigger than a DD. He gave me exactly what I asked.

I trusted my PS to decide for me on the table. We agreed on a range (no less than-no more than) pre-op and then he was the decider from there. He went to the max, but it was good in my case as it helped escape the need for a lift.

I had originally wanted 175cc's under the muscle, but to be safe, my PS brought 175's AND 200's to the OR. While I was sitting on the OR being marked up, she asked me if I'd rather be too big, or too small....I said, "Too big!" So she gave me the 200cc's. Except for my asymmetry still being pronounced, I love my size!

In retrospect, I went smaller. I went in and told my PS my desired cup size. I said I want to look natural and "I want to be a 32C so I can fit things" So, then he brought in three different sizes to the surgery and ended up choosing the smallest he brought in, which was 300cc's. Sometimes, I think, oh ***, I wish he didn't do that.

After the fact, he told me that he would have recommended bigger and I could have gone 500cc's. (Clearly, I've breastfed!!)

I went with the largest my ps would allow ..... 290cc

But, I'm ok with it now, so in the end !

My first ba I totally let my ps decide size, placement, incision.. I really trusted him implicitly. I said I wanted to be very very natural, and he did a fantastic job! My second ba, (redo for cc and deflation/rupture) I used the same ps, but we discussed size a great deal more. He suggested going up 100cc's but I said I wanted to be as big as possible, without taking more risks for complications. He asked what size or amount did I have in mind, and I said 450-475. He said they would use sizers in the OR. He did use the 475, and said that they all (surgical team) thought I looked fantastic and would be very pleased! I SOOOO AM! My ps is very artistic, and he may have gone bigger had I insisted, but he would not have been comfortable in doing so.. I guess what I mean is even the second time, I left the final call to him, and if he would have told me I couldnt or shouldnt go that big, I would have listened to him.

I am going a little larger then what my PS suggested he thought 375cc and 400cc and I went with 425 and 450cc I like the way the 375cc looked but wanted to make sure that I got that look after going under the muscle, wanted to be larger rather then smaller and I could not go any bigger.

My ps pretty much told me what amount would safely fit in my body. I'm small around, never breastfed, and had tight chest muscles....so he figured anywhere from 225-275 cc's and he decided during surgery. He was right on the money.

I asked what the biggest he'd go and went with that. I tried to say "no I want 600ccs" and he said "nope, can't do it". He made a call in the OR to fill mine a bit more and hit 525cc's. Made me a happy camper.
