Was your partner more insecure after your breast augmentation?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what I'm letting myself in for, my bf has already commented that I'm never going out on my own again after I've had them done (he better be joking!). Was just wondering if your increase in confidence made your partners feel more insecure about themselves.

Not at all. My husband knows I love him and I'm not going anywhere. He has never been insecure or insinuated that he thought I would leave him after my breast augmentation.

Mine was all for my decision to have this done he said I want you to do this for your self not for me... athough he has been alittle more insecure saying things like I bet you will get more attention........he knows I love him I think that its a change and will take some time to get use to it......

I think my OH;s insecurities were the reason he held off for so long in helping me achieve my breast augmentation.....pre breast augmentation i had a special bra that really made me look like i had some boob, and he would sometimes comment that ppl were looking, we discussed this at length before my op, i assured him a pair of boobs would not change my psersonality, but would benefit him in the bedroom, cos i would be more proud and comfortable with my body...ive always worn revealing tops when on an evening out, and so was honest that this wasnt going to change....i think you have to be honest with yourself as well as with your man, that way your both going into this with your eyes wide open....and talking about everything is so important....my OH can be quite paranoid about things, but i can honestly say we've never had a cross word about my boobs so far....

Very Much So... My Husband became quite insecure. We are getting over it now (1 Year later) but wow - He was not himself in the beginning though.

no problems with my partner either. he was ok with my decision to get boobs pre breast augmentation and is fine with my

them every now and then. probably enjoys watching me flaunt my upper half rather than my legs every now and then

I voted No, not at all. I really dont think he's insecure about them. He does like to tease that everyone is staring at my "humongo boobs"

. But it doesnt seem to be in a jealous way at all.

my DH is a very secure man, and he was all for me making my own decision about this, and not once did he say he was against it.
he has never commented anything of the sort, as he fully trusts me and knows i love him no matter what.
however, he did comment once when i was waiting for him at a bar/restaurant and all these guys were talking to me before he arrived that all the attention i was getting was because of "the twins"
i told him, "honey, if you're a half pretty girl, sitting ALONE in a bar, believe me, twins or no twins, you won't be alone too long...."
hehe

So... with my weight loss and gym obsession, new boobs and resulting confidence increase, hubby has become a little insecure now even though he knows I love him very much ... hence his decision to join the gym!! ...

so I voted a little more insecure

So... with my weight loss and gym obsession, new boobs and resulting confidence increase, hubby has become a little insecure now even though he knows I love him very much ... hence his decision to join the gym!! ...

My partner was getting insecure before I got them done, silly comments like are you going to run off with some toned adonis etc etc, in a joking way of course

He is absolutely fine now though, think he's realised it hasn't changed me or the way I dress, they are for his (and mine) eyes only.
He was a bit strange in the first couple of weeks thinking everyone was staring at them, but it was just his initial insecurity.

My husband and i have always had issues with his insecurity towards me (VERY latin man)...Anyway, he has never approved of me getting a breast augmentation; and, I always put it off due to that...Till this year! I got my breast augmentation against his wishes (i dont care)! And, now he is constantly making little comments about my tops being too revealing...Sorry Charlie!

I voted no, not at all. My husband hasn't had any issues with my breast augmentation. He is happy that I am now happy with myself.

my bf is far from insecure, bothers me sometimes cos if fella's chat me up, he just laughs..however, i had to laugh last nite cos i had a bath and came down stairs wrapped in a towel and was on the computer for a minute.
then bf and his mate came into the house, my bf got to the kitchen and seen me and just said to his mate to go into the living room (i was well covered so i wasn't bothered). bf ran up the stairs and brought me down my dressing gown...lol, i asked was he afraid i was gonna flash!!
