Should i fix my bottoming out or not? Yes or No

Well, my next ps appt. is less than 3 weeks away to discuss my bottoming out.
I've been currently wearing my bra 24/7 for the past few months, and I don't THINK they have gotten worse. My dh said he still loves them and would be happy if i left them as they are....My ps is waiving his fees, so that's great, but I still have to pay the anestheisia and surgery fees...not sure how much yet, but i do know we don't have the money right now. Should i really go through another surgery just to put in some sutures and pay out big bucks again, or should i just leave it alone, and keep wearing my bra indefinitely? I still like them too, but i wonder what they would look like after the revision.

What would YOU do??

Hey Vanessa, I say yes, but I'm saying yes because that's what I would do if I was in your situation. I would have another surgery 1) because he's waiving his fees and 2) what if they do get worse and it's been much longer and your PS decides it's been too long and won't waive his fees then?? Then what?? You're kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place, you look fabulous still even if you don't decide to fix them!!!! Good luck with your decision girl, this is kind of a toughy!!!!!

hmm, that is a tough one. i think your boobs look awesome. i still dont think i completely understand bottoming out. but if your ps said you need a revision then i would prob do it. do you know if it could possibly get worse??? i would go talk w/the ps & see what he/she thinks. maybe since your ps will waive the fees i would do it now instead of later. just wondering, do you have to sleep in your bra?

yeah, i have to eat, sleep, breathe in my bra so it doesn't get worse....I really hate that, so on the one hand, if i fixed it, i would want to go braless again, but don't know if that would be a good idea in case it happened again. I think it could get worse, or it could stay the same...not really sure. My ps didn't say it was an absolute necessity to fix it, i guess it's just if i want to or not....I just don't know if it's all really worth it

JACQELINERT will become famous soon enough
Sounds like your sweetie-pie dh is trying to be supportive of you either way.

My sense is you are inclined to do it, V, but could use some moral support, because it's another "round" to go through and put family through.

If so, consider yourself TOTALLY supported.

If it were me (or if it ever is me) I would do it, sweetie. It would bug me forever otherwise LOL. Life is verry long, surgery is short.

OK Van giving you what i think i would do, which would be to go through with the surgery, now I agree you look great now, but and its a large BUT.... what if the bottoming out gets worse over time, and after enough time has passed the PS says NO i am not going to waive fees now, then you are really stuck with a huge bill, and you do have to get it fixed, and there are no ifs ands or buts about it, IMO it would be way safer to do it now, (if you can) and just not have to worry about ......am i going to get worse , and the list goes on.......I am rambling here but do you see what i mean? I wish you all the best Vanessa, but IMO it is too big a chance to take, unless you really do not mind paying the extra, which we all know would be a lot! But in reality, Hun, I do think you look great right now, but just wanted to give you a ......what I would do if it were me. HTH sweetie.

Vanessa

At first I was gonna vote 'no' cos if it were me, i wouldnt want another surgery...but, having read that youre wearing your bra 24/7 to stop it getting worse, i think i would go thru with surgery.... you didnt get ur boobs to hide them away in a bra vanessa, you got them to enjoy with DH and everything else that goes with bigger boobs, you remember i didnt understand bottoming out? and thought you looked gorgeous? well, i still think you look great, but the chances are there for it to get worse, and i would hate to read another thread from you along the way, saying its got worse and you have to shell out more $$$ to get it fixed...so, knowing you as much as i do now, id say your pretty happy despite your bottoming out, so go get it done while your sunny nature is high, it would be so sad, to hear you down cos u didnt, and you dont deserve this at all, but while the offer is there for cheaper fees, be brave and get it fixed so you can enjoy them like you intended...and i want to take this opportunity vanessa, in wishing you all the luck in the world with your decision and the end outcome...you deserve it and much more xxxx

Hey Nessa...your hoots look fabulous even with the bottoming-out hon, so I can understand why a revision doesn't sound appealing at all. If it was me, I would get the perm. sutures put in b/c bottoming-out could get worse & I would enjoy my curves less stressing about the possibility. Maybe you can hold off while you're saving up to pay the fees?

Best to you sweetie! You're a hottie no matter what you decide

Vanessa,

If it were me, I would have the revision. I wouldn't want to have to wear a bra 24/7 worrying about the bottoming out getting worse (unfortunately, it won't fix itself no matter how much you wear a bra, the bra 24/7 is just keeping it from getting worse). I think you need to be totally comfortable with your BA and not have to worry about it if you decide to go bra-less every now and then. I can understand not really having the money too. Is there a time limit on how long you have to decide?

If it were me, I'd have the revision. Either way, I wish you the best of luck!! And I've already said this before, but your boobies look great!

You also have to think about bikinis. You look great in a string bikini (I can't say the same)... but if you don't get the revision you'd have to get underwired tops, right??? Boooo.

Hey Vanessa, I have to agree with the earlier posts. If it were me, I'd be inclined to do it while your ps is willing to waive his fees. And, having to wear a bra 24/7 has got to get old at some point. Like Anne said, you didn't have a ba to have to hide them in a bra.
Best wishes in your decision!

i am very lucky...my husband is so supportive of me, and even though we don't have the money for a revision right now, he said he would still back me up if i wanted to go through with it and take out a loan or whatever we had to do to make it happen....He's so wonderful!!

and i definitley do need some moral support, so i'm soaking it all in from you lovely ladies!! thank you so much for yours!! xoxo
