i still have as much sensation as before i had my breast augmentation, but its just different... i dont know how to explain it. its not really good or bad though cause ive never really enjoyed my nips being touched. hah......

I didnt lose any sensitivity at all. Immediately after surgery they were hyper sensitive and they settled into their old selves. My boyfriend and I were thrilled about that.

I'm only one month post-op. I had a crease incision.
For the first week I had no feeling at all in either nipple.
The second week I started getting feeling back in my left nipple.
Third week the left side got hyper-sensitive. Still no feeling in the right.
Fourth week is still about the same. I can feel pressure but not light touch on the nipple.
I got 600cc gel implants and my skin was very stretched out so the nerves are very stressed. I'm not surprised at the loss of feeling, my surgeon said it could take as long as a year for the feeling to return.

I voted Yes but only on one side! I got peri-areola incisions. I don't think it was numb feeling until a few days after surgery. So now, if I'm cold, sometimes only 1 nipple will get hard. It's really funny!!! My PS said that in just about all of his patients with the areola incision the feeling comes back, but it could take some time!

I was hyper sensitive too but it goes away after a month..

Well I have to clarify since, there wasnt a choice for my scenario

I am typical case or so I am told

I was completely numb after breast augmentation, for about 2 weeks..

Then my nerves came back in one.. and then the other several days later. Then I was SO sensitive, hypersensitive.

Just now its starting to calm, but I am told it will decrease and usually normalize.

So Im almost all those answers

I am nearly 12 months post op and nipple sensitivity is pretty lame. I thought I was going to get it back with all the prickling and zinging I had, but nope. I have very, very slight feeling, but I hate it because it hurts. A very uncomfortable sensation.

I had areola incision and I have all my feeling in both nipples. I'd say if anything, they are slightly more sensitive...in a good way

I have decreased nipple sensitivity and I still have numbness at lower portion of both breast. I am almost 4 months PO. crease incisions

my hubby dont even have to touch my nips and they go crazy. They wernt that bad before, not complaining its kinda fun
