34! I hadn't thought very seriously about a BA until relatively recently (about a year ago) and then waited until hubby and I had definitely decided not to have any more kids - he had a vasectomy yesterday so I guess we're done LOL!

dont wanna burst your little bubble of sterility, but my BILs tubes reconnected AFTER he was given all clear...result, one much wanted baby girl !

Yeah, I know that can happen, BUT, on one side hubby had a procedure which makes him TOTALLY sterile, absolutely NO CHANCE of accidents, and the vasectomy on the other side, his PS uses a special technique which involves cutting out extra tubing and then folding the ends over before stitching them down

, so hopefully no more babies for us!! If it happened though, I'd deal with it.

I am 42 and just got my BA this past Monday. I think now that my kids are older, 5 and 10, it is time to think of me again...I felt that whatever boobs I had were gone with breastfeeding...life is short...on a personal note my mom was killed at age 48...so as I approach her age I am more aware of the importance of living life fully!!! This is something I did for me...I am so glad!!!

I am 39 and have wanted it since I was 18 but could never afford until now. I was actually scheduled last July but we adopted our second baby instead... Great reason to wait until now.

46! I've wanted it since I was a lot younger but back then it just wasn't heard of in the UK and all the bad press etc, but if it'd been available and it was as safe as it seems now then I would've def have done it sooner but after my babies, so when I was 27! Another thing, on a more personal note, my Mum died at 45 so when I reached her age I thought it's time I started living for now instead of the future...
