Ladies with crease incisions: If you had numbness, how long ...

Ladies,
I had a crease incision and have numbness in both breasts. If you regained sensation, how long did it take for you?

And is there any thing I can do to help get it back?

Thanks for your input,
Elle

I am well over two months now, and I still can't feel my skin under both breasts. It feels so weird to touch it when you can't feel it.

I hope the sensation will return, but I guess all you can do is to be patient

my breast augmentation is more than 2 years old.
my right hand side boob still doesn't feel nothing from the scar up to the nipple, while my lefthandside has started recovering sensations about 2 month ago. but nothing to be exited about...

Shortly after the 2 month mark the major numbness subsided and my nipple sensitivity returned back to normal. The scar themselves are still a bit numb, as is fairly common.

I don't remember exactly. I had some sensation in rightie to begin with, but not much in leftie. I didn't really notice much changes until at least 3 months, I think. Then I started really getting hit with zingers. But I still had numb spots and my left nipple had some feeling back, but not enough. I wanted more! LOL! By 6 months, most of the feeling was back and I thought that was probably as good as it would get. And then around 8-9 months, I got zingers again and by the time they quit, I had pretty much normal and good sensation back all over boobs and nips. There are still a few spots on the underside of each boob that don't have much feeling. I suspect they never will. But they are small little areas and I would never know if I didn't feel around, trying to find them. So it goes to show that you shouldn't give up! You can keep getting more and more back for a long time. Oh- I didn't do anything specific to help it come back. I think it will or it won't.

*starkarros* will become famous soon enough
I voted 2-4 months because I think I still had numbing until around 2-3 months...it eventually went away for the most part. I had a lot of numbing on the underside of my boob...I guess bc that's where the incision is....I thought they were going to be numb forever but slowly but surely got the sensation back...Every now and then i'll rub my fingers along the underside to feel (like I just did now lol to check) and I have feeling....I think everyone's different and some get their feeling back whereas some don't....HTH

I didn't vote for anything. I am 4 months post op and I still have numbness on the underside of both boobs. I have started getting strange pains and sensations and zingers so I guess everything is slowly working itself out. Only very vague feeling in my nips.
