Although I did have some assymetry to fix, the size was purely cosmetic. Especially now that boobie greed has hit! | |

I consider mine to be cosmetic, because I had great breasts before. I was a large B, small C. They just werent big enough for my tall frame!!

I think reconstructive because I lost 45lbs four years ago and my boobs are saggy. I need something to fix them. The doctor diagnosed with tuberous breast deformity because of that.

Well, there is sag and I did lose some volume to the sag, but really, I voted cosmetic cause there isn't anything "wrong" with them, I just don't like them- but that will change very soon- hurray!

mine was technically reconstructive. they were tuberous, asymmetric, and i had a scar in the way of the growth. whatever, everyone deserves to have happy boobies, right?

![]() | well, mine didn't have the chance to get taken away. i was born with a hole in my heart and as part of the open heart surgery they had to put an emergency drainage tube right through my breast tissue so when i was supposed to grow breasts, there was scar tissue in the way, so i didn't. maybe its not "reconstructive," but just "constructive" either way, in my case i don't think mine was "purely cosmetic." but i get the context of what you're saying. i guess the proper answer for me isn't an option on the poll. lol

![]() ![]() | One look at my pitiful, nursed-out, deflated, droopy, formerly glorious, natural 32DD's-turned hideous, droopy, post-babies 32C's BEFORES and you'd know the answer. I absolutely consider it reconstruction. |

No question reconstructive for me. 35 of the last 36 years spent with capsular constriction (hard boobs!) and the last 5 with ruptures is what qualifies the BA as reconstructive. But there's a cosmetic part too, going bigger and of course being soft again (I can't even remember what that's like) is so exciting!

I understand it is cosmetic although to me it is reconstructive. I feel deformed since having my babies and it affects me physically and mentally.

I answered cosmetic, even though I did have asymmetry and wanted it correcte, but since I work in the medical field, I know that anything not medically necessary is considered cosmetic. This is why BA's are not covered under insurance for anyone except breast cancer patients, because you can live with asymmetry, saggy boobs, deflated boobs, etc. without any harm coming to you...so it is cosmetic.

I didn't vote. I consider mine reconstructive and cosmetic as I had BA/BL. They were not symetrical what so ever and very saggy. (Monkey tits as my daughter once told me). LOL!

Reconstructive. This is only because I was full and perky. This is prior to nursing two children, and loosing weight after my second child. After this I lost volume, shape and height. So I reconstructed them back to they way they use to be!

i answered reconstructive to me. my pre BA boobies were not those of a 21 year old with no babies. the drastic weightloss really took a toll on me i would've been fine with even a B cup had they been perky but the bigger size was necessary to give me a lift without full anchor and to even out my pre-existing stretch marks...now i lurv the size |
