Do you consider your BA "reconstructive" or cosmetic?

I thought I would post a poll asking you how you "view" your BA. Was it truly reconstructive, cosmetic, or do you consider it reconstructive due to the nature of your natural breasts (i.e. saggy from breastfeeding, assymetrical etc.)? I know what my answer is.

Oh mine is definately cosmetic. I mean, if it would have been clearly just to get back what I lost, I'd have asked for a large B/small C. Crazy talk. I'll take the big uns.

i consider mine reconstructive becuz i had asymetry and it needed it be fixed..

mine would be cosmetic. My mom has had alot of work done for as long as I can remember. So maybe it runs in our blood. haha j/k.

Reconstructive To Me. I had sag that was fairly bad for someone my age, and I wouldn't even show them to anyone! I just wanted to look normal.

In would say the first time it was reconstruction, since I have very bad ptosis and needed a lift. I would say the re-do is cosmetic since it's for size.

Cosmetic. I liked my B-cups- I just wanted them bigger. They look exactly like they used to only 3 sizes larger.

Both for me.

I was screwed over genetically with very asymmetrical breasts, a C and a D. So from a reconstructive standpoint, I want to look normal. I would love to wear a bra that fits both breasts and not have to wear a pad in one side.

Cosmetic because not only am I fixing nature's jerk-off move, but I'm taking advantage and going BIG!

i say half and half lol but i voted cosmetic since i wanted them to look better (well who doesn't lol) ~ my boobs were deflated but not competely so i say that they needed some construction work down on them hahaha but i mainly did it for costmetic reasons (but to reconstruct at the same time)

I said reconstructive. I had a lumpectomy b/c there was a chance I had cancer...this was January of last year. Everything came back benign thank God! But I lost a chunck of my left breast and was devistated and wouldn't even get into a swimming suit...so even though I went larger than I previously was...I def. consider if reconstructive...

I chose, reconstructive. After having two children and nursing I was left with rocks in socks. It wasn't appealing to me, so I had it fixed.

I would have chose cosmetic if I actually liked my breasts and was just going for a size change.

For me it was a little of both I guess, reconstructive and cosmetic. I reconstructed and added a little while I was at it.

A bit of both. I had some perk, but not alot after two kids so they were like tubesocks with oranges if I was bending over, unsat. And I went larger than I previously EVER was because I wanted big boobs. So, both!
