Doctor #1 - no fee but held credit card to reserve consult (most expensive doc)
Doctor #2 - no fee
Doctor #3 - no fee
Doctor #4 - no fee
Doctor #5 - $75 fee put towards procedure cost - i wanted to cancel this because I just felt it was weird they were charging and no one else was! (and i didn't find this doc to be that exceptional, in my research) They promised me it would be a thorough and informative consult and worth it - and it was. But I chose another doc.

This is not fair!!
Here in Sydney i've rung around to at least 10 different places.. standard is $AU150 - which does not go towards your breast augmentation.. The most expensive i've seen so far is $AU250 and Cheapest $AU100..

I didn't pay for anything, but I was travelling from out of town and had the consult the day before surgery. I had already paid the deposit and surgery fee before the consult.

3 consults, all were $100, all were rebated to the overall cost of the breast augmentation so I ended up paying $200 for consults

to the PS's that I didn't select.

OMG Littlewitch! I can't believe your surgery was the day after your consult! That might be the way to go. I have had way to much time to agonize over making the decision to do this. It's funny b/c after I first met the PS I am going to I said if I could do it tomorrow I would. Now with all this time to think about it all, I'm so nervous and having a hard time making the commitment to do it. Good for you!

I voted yes but I'd also like to put no. I had two consults from two ps with great reputations. The ps that I'm using didn't charge me for a consult, he also spent a great deal of time with me. The other ps charged $50 and rushed through the consult seemed very annoyed with my questions. They both gave the same recommendations and the price was about the same. However when I tried to negotiate a better deal the coordinator from my ps took $1000 off the final price. The other office refused to negotiate. All this made it a lot easier to make a final decision.

I did have to pay $500 (towards my surgery) to hold the breast augmentation date and then the full amount when I went in for my preop.

My consult was free but once u decide when the date was going to be, u would have to put down $500.00 to secure your surgery date. 2 weeks before surgery it had to be paid in full.

My consult was free and so was my pre-op appointment. Anything after surgery was included in my surgery fee, which meant any time I saw my ps for up to one year after my surgery I didn't have to pay.

I have two consults booked, 1st is $100, 2d is $105. Both of them deduct the fee if I choose them for the breast augmentation.

Both of my consults were free. At the time of booking $500 deposit and balance paid in full 72 hrs before sugery.

well I paid $100.00 for consult, but they took that off of my payment for breast augmentation.
