Was your consult free?

Just curious if you had to pay for your consult or if it was free? My first consult was $50, but it went towards the end balance.

One PS I went to charged $100 ..put towards the cost of the surgery. (however their credit card machine was down that day so I didnt get charged!)

The PS I ended up going with did not charge a consult fee.

$65 consult fee deducted from the final balance if you went with them for the procedure.

I paid 75 for my first and 100 for my second. I chose the second surgeon and the money was deducted from the procedure cost.

Mine was free but I held the date with my credit card. If I had not shown up, they would charge $50.

Mine was free...would have been $75, but since I had scheduled my breast augmentation within 90 days from the consult. then it was free!!

My PS charged $75 and that went toward your surgery fees if you chose to go with him, which I did. I like that he charged a fee, it makes it seem like he's seriouse, and his time is preciouse/valuable to him. It also makes you really think about if you are or are not seriouse about a breast augmentation.

The one I am going ton on the 6th is free, but I had to give a CC to hold the appt. If I don't show up or cancel withing 24 hours I will be charged.

I had 3 consults 1 in California and 2 in MN and all 3 were free. I have never heard of paying for a consult. Shouldn't we be in charge of picking the right PS and not have to pay for it?

I wasn't charged but I can not say it was free or not because my consultation was literally the day before my surgery...

I paid $75, but it was applicalbe to the final bill. If I'd gone somewhere else, I wouldn't have gotten a refund.

I consulted with four doctors, all but one were free consultations. One of $50. The PS I went with was free.
