Do you truly like/love your body? I want to know how you got there; did you always love your body? Or did you need to work on it and make it happen? How did you make it happen? ok I picked always loved my body, because for 95% of my life I have. the times I didnt is when I gained weight. I did not feel comfortable or confident. I am very tiny to begin with. I weighed 83lbs graduating HS, after I turned 27 - is when I gained weight, I got a BF I lived with and we kinda stop going out, started baking, I didnt realize I gained 25lbs until I couldnt fit in anything... then I started working out, lost it, gained it, lost it, gained it, lol so now I just work out daily and am happy to be a size one/zero again and plan on staying that size or smaller. Now if only sept would get here so I can get my boobies ..

Not to sound argumentative or something but I don't get this poll answer: "I always loved my body, never had any body issues. " I guess my thing is if you had no body issues then why would you want to get a breast augmentation??? I'm curious??? Hope I didn't come off bad for asking but I'd like someone to explain this to me. |

I'm glad you asked this; I'm sure other girls wondered the same. When I talk about people disliking their bodies, it kind of goes beyond, "Oh, my body is nice, but gee, it would be nice if I had bigger boobs . . . " or "it'd be nice if I lost a few pounds . . ." I'm referring more to people with serious body image issues, and I honestly doubt that every woman who has gotten a breast augmentation has serious issues with their bodies. As you can see, the poll results, so far, do show that some women (who, obviously either got a breast augmentation already or are considering getting one) liked/loved their bodies pre-breast augmentation. Does this help? I'm sorry this confused you, hon! ![]()

I always liked my body. I never had significant weight issues and more or less I have always been satisfied. The boob thing is just the icing on the cake. I have always really taken care of myself and quite honestly, it shows. That is not to say I wouldn't mind loosing a few pounds, or get rid of my cellulite, and so on and so on. I am by far not perfect, but very content.

![]() | I've always felt comfortable in my skin and I've always exuded that feeling. Everytime I looked at my parents growing up I thought things like.."I'm glad I have my dad's smile"..."I'm glad I have my mom's eyes"..for me that's what it has always been about. I am a representation of the two people who mean more to me than anything, aside from my husband and brother, and I've just always been so happy that I stole little bits and pieces from them. The only real issue I've ever dealt with was being so thin. Fortunately as I've gotten older I have been able to gain a little bit of weight..about 11 pounds so far! Woo-Hoo! and I'm happy..I feel better about myself ![]() |

I used to dislike my body, because I'm naturally skinny and when I was a teen I was very skinny and got teased a lot so was very self-conscious because of that. When I finished high school I put on some weight though so now I quite like my body, although I'm not comfortable with my boobs and that is why I'm here obviously! So..... I do quite like my body, I guess half to do with good genes and the other half cause I changed it a bit by putting on weight. I have a feeling I'm going to love it though after breast augmentation ;-)

I've always liked my body. There was a few years ago where I lost 20lbs in a year due to stress & being unhappy (failed marriage~Thank God I got out of that mess) and I could tell....I was way too thin. That was the only issue I've ever had. In fact, I am still trying to gain 10lbs of that back! I use to say I always wanted to gain 5-10lbs just to add more oommph to my body & having a breast augmentation helped me achieve that goal. Now I'm totally satisfied. Whoo Hoo!! Even in my younger days I was always skinny but muscular & have never weighed over 100lbs but now I like to work out to keep everything toned. So far, it seems to be working! 34yrs old & still look/weigh the same as I did when I was 18! I always thank my parents for those good genes!! |

well I answered wrong...I always liked my body, have never been obsessed with working out, though I do eat well, and exercise a bit. I chose two because I hated my boobs after having my son...I was always flat chested, but after my baby, I was flat chested and saggy! breast augmentation of course remedied that...but i would not have called it a "serious body issue" so i guess I should have counted as a 1, not 2

I love and respect my body now, but for the last 15 years I struggled with anorexia and bulimia. I and now in active revery and have been for 1 year ( lots of hard work and therapy ). I was at one time 98 lbs at 5"8' and now I am a proud muscular 150 and love'n my body :-) I got brest implants because I finally wanted a more womanly body, something I was afraid of before!! :-) Anyone else out there with a story similar??

I have always loved my body except my boobs since they are so small, so I answered #1. Now I haven't gained weight since I was 16 so that probably attributes to my love for it haha. Hopefully once I finally get boobs I'll love it even more! |
