Friend Requests and Pics

I feel uncomfortable accepting FR's without pics and at least some contact. I mean, I want to help other girls as well as get feedback, but I want to know that things are genuine.

How do you feel?

There are many of us who feel like you do so you are not alone. We have sigs just like you. I have no problem letting people know on their walls either if they send a FR. It's about comfort level.

I chose- Maybe but I read through their posts first, and by that I mean:

If I have contact with someone (like responding to their threads, or posts) I will accept them without pictures. However if I have never had any contact with them, and they dont message me. I wont accept. Personal choice- But I have pictures and need to keep them private regardless of if they are clothed.

I went through my list a while ago, and cleaned it out. Dont worry totally normal way to feel!

I absolutely click reject if there are no posts or pictures. I do make some exceptions but not usually

This is my opinion. When someone request a Friends request with no pics or post. This tell me 95% of the time they are there to check me out for whatever personal reason they have. It is not about learning or asking question on here its about looking at women's breast nothing more. Legitimate women who come on here ASK QUESTIONS many questions or post comments even before asking to see someone's personal breast. I personally felt that one should earn to be here and once its earned and trusted then u can request friends to see one's pics.. I personally prefer to read posts here before i accept a friends request. Pics mean nothing to me bc anyone can post a fake pics without post. That tells me Its a guy. Men are more visual than women and women are more verbal Not to say women are not visual.. we are but in our unique kind of way of doing so..

I won't accept from people with no pics or posts. It's just a little scary because I have pix of my boobs up, and you never know who it could be when they don't have any pix or posts!

I THINK IT JUST DEPENDS. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU ON THE FACT THAT THERE ARE GOING TO BE POEPLE WHO COME THROUGH FOR THE WRONG REASONS BUT ON THE OTHER HAND REQUIRING 100 POST TAKES A LITTLE TIME. I AM A RELATIVELY NEW USER AND BUILDING ON MY POSTS BUT I DONT EVEN BOTHER TO ASK UNLESS ITS SUGGESTED BECAUSE IM AFFRAID MY STATS ARENT GOOD ENOUGH.

I think many of us do exceptions to the rule, especially if newbies have pics up and we can see that they are actually posting. However, NO PICS no FR accepted...

I know what you mean, as a new user it can be frustrating when we are looking for info to help with our decision/healing. I also get that privacy is key. Everyone has to decide for themselves what they're comfortable with.

well I feel really cheeky saying i wont accept since i dont have any private pics up at the moment but i took mine down cos DH was having a little freak out (such a guy) but when i had pics up i would only accept others who'd posted a fair amount and had pics. I make acceptions if i've "chatted" with them. I have had some FR from ppl who i've never even heard of which makes me suss (I spend a fair amount of time on here so i wonder how they found my name and what makes them wanna befriend me ~ maybe i'm just paraniod?)

i make a few exceptions. but i do feel that out of the blue requests are a bit one sided. i also delete frs that are inactive...but still manage to always look at my albums, but never leave comments. its eerie after a while.

i deleted a 'non commenter' after i got fed up with the views, and IMMEDIATELY they sent another FR request

i remember being a newbie and getting rejected because i did send some requests out of the blue. i figured it out after a while

I will only accept FR if they have several postings as well as pictures...and I mean an avatar would be nice too...I understand if we have private settings so our albums are not visible so they can't see ours but like me, I have a profile picture as well as a avatar picture and a kajillion and one posts...I have been extra cautious lately just because it just seems like I'm getting a lot of FR from ppl that don't send me a profile message saying they want to be friends and/or have 0 to only a few posts...

I do read through posts before I accept someone, and wouldn't mind if someone I requested to be friends with checked through mine either.
I have sent out a few requests lately to girls who I have never talked to, and I know it seems completely random lol, but I see their sig pics and think "Damn, they are awesome boobs, I need to see more of them in case I wanna take them to my surgeon!"
I find that JBI is much better for finding your ideal pics to show your surgeon than google, mainly bc there are so many girls here and we can check out each others stats at the same time.

In the beginning, I was just adding every friend request I got...but now I'm feeling a bit more cautious so I went ahead and deleted some "friends" with no pics, or posts, or visitor comments. You just never know. We've got some incredibly personal information on here, which is why I've remained somewhat anonymous. I think it's all about discretion. xo

This is a great thread! I feel the same way as many of you all do. I won't accept any FR's if they don't have any posts or pictures. I have deleted several "friends" since they have never even sent a comment! I don't understand wanting to be friends with someone if you aren't going to communicate with them! What's the point? I'm all for helping other girls and answering questions about surgery, don't get me wrong. I don't mind them looking at my albums but I would like to establish some sort of a relationship with them first. I don't think that is too much to ask since I'm sharing something very private and personal with them.

I feel my pics are very private and personal so I am picky about who I accept. I also want to help other women in making a decision in their surgery, and I had it all...breast augmentation, BL, areola reduction, nipple reduction as well as bottoming out!
I do like to see pics. Even if you have not had a breast augmentation you should have befores. I also read through their posts to make sure they are truly interested in this whole breast augmentation process.

I think what people are looking for is assurance that you are a real woman wanting a breast augmentation...not some creepy man or weirdo who just wants to look at boobs.

When I joined this forum, I was excited and wanted to persoanlize my profile. I want people to know about me and who I am and what I want. I don't understand who joins a forum without even adding an avatar! To me, it just seems suspicious.

When I was here early on, I would FR people just cause they were interesting to talk to, with no interest in seeing their photos, more like you would on MySpace or something! They were probably like "why does this person want to be my friend, she wants 275ccs and I have 600ccs!"

I feel the same as many of you. Even though I have no headshots where my boobies are fully exposed, I do have other pictures of myself in my albums. If a user has few posts and no pictures, I don't jump the gun on accepting a FR.
