Did you end up equal?

I am wondering on how satisfied everyone is with their finished "product". I ended up with my left side slightly larger than my right. It only bothers me, and doesn't show when I am dressed. My husband doesn't mind either. I really wanted them equal, but I am not going for a redo, because overall they look fabulous. They are soft and natural looking. I don't want to set myself up for any complications by forcing "equality".

My PS passed it off, but his nurse noticed a difference straight away. He used the same size implant for both sides which I don't think is very common. So, just curious on how common it is to end up with different sizes.

My lefty is a tiny tiny bit larger than the righty. And it was like that pre breast augmentation,I don't mind it. I knew it was gonna be like that and I didn't care.
You cannot tell that one is bigger than the other.

I love them!

I started off slightly uneven in size, and I too got the same put in each, my ps said it wouldnt noticed, but it does, to me...it doesn't bother me too much and doesnt affect my bra sizing..and like you I dont want to risk a redo (have'nt got the money anyway) in case my uneventful recovery turns different...

I do wish, however, that I was allowed bigger implants...nude i love them, but sometimes clothed I feel no different

my right is bigger than my my left but i think its because my left just will not drop, im alittle unhappy with the outcome and seriously considering a re-do if after 12 months they still look odd, my dh says they are fine but i really notice it!!

It really depends on what you started out with. I started out even, so when I got the same cc's in each implant... I ended up even. If you got the same cc's in each, I'm assuming there was some assymetry and maybe your PS just didn't notice it when you were smaller.

I think you are right - nude they look bigger, especially when I view my before and after pictures. Last night I wore a rather clingy blouse and you could definitely tell the difference - WooHoo. But if I wear a plain blouse or my work scrubs, you can't really tell. Oh well, Hubby can , and that is important --- espcially when he married me he said he was a "Leg Man" - Liar!!!

it is common enough to get the same size implants.
My surgeon used sizers during surgery. so I only have 12cc difference between the two sides. But they look and fill out the bra cups the same.

My lefty was a bit larger to start with, and I think it will stay that way. My PS nurse told me no one is perfectly the same to begin with. I asked about using different sizes of implants to try to even things up and PS nurse said that was possible with salines, which are filled after implantation, but not gels. Gels, at least the Mentor ones I got, jump in 50cc increments and that may have been too much of a jump to even it out anyway (100cc certainly would have). Overall, I am very happy and I know I've got some time yet until the final look emerges!

Mine are looking pretty much the same now. It took the left one longer to catch up, but she did it! I started out with almost the same size, got the same cc's in each side, so I would have really been disappointed and surprised if they did not match pretty closely. I am vey happy so far!!

I ended up the same size.
One thing for me is that one nipple is slighly lower than the other, and that didn't change of course.
But it doesn't bother me, I had never noticed it until my ps pointed it out anyway.

I always though that one of my breasts was larger until recently. then I noticed that it wasnt my boobs it was my chest. One side sticks out a little more, so it makes my left breast look like its bigger, but its not. One breast of mine does hang a little lower, but my nipples are even, which the ps told me was unusual but good. I still think that it would look bigger if i got more ccs in the breast that looks smaller, but isnt. But i am not going to worry about that.

I have a 25cc difference betweent the two which has helped to even them out. I am really happy with that aspect of it. It was really awkward prior to breast augmentation becuase my larger breast always seemed to be pulling my bra that way. I am not in a bra yet, but look forward to them being even in the bra.

My lefty is larger than righty too. My PS said the size difference isn't big enough to warrant for different size implants and that it wouldn't show as much with the implants in. He was right - I am different size and shape as I was before, but I do look a lot more even than I would've expected with same size implants. So I'm happy with his decision.

My righty is noticeably larger and I hate it. My PS said my chest wall was further back on the right, even though my boobs were the same size and I would need a larger implant that side so they would project the same distance. I could see what she was saying so agreed. Now my boobs do indeed project the same distance but looking at them front on you can really tell that one implant is larger in circumference and a completely different shape to the other. I think I would rather have one come out a little less distance but have them look the same. There is 50cc of difference btn them.

I have 50cc's different...my right breast is a little bit smaller and I can tell...but I'm not sure if anyone else can...does'nt matter because I know it's a little smaller so I will always pick that out !!!

My left is smaller than my right but totally unnoticeable under clothes (I asked hubby). It doesn't bother me too too much when you think about how many un-augmented women are perfectly symmetrical?

I think the difference is very obvious and it bothers me
my ps is waiting to see whether the L (which is higher and smaleer) will catch up - I gave up hope...
in 2 months we'll be checking them out again and deciding on possible redo of the L

I started off even, maybe just a tiny hair larger on the left, and got the same amount of cc's in each, but now my right side is noticeably larger!
