Boobies - Before or After Kids

It makes me sad when i here people say dont have breast augmentation before your done with having kids. I'm 24 and dont plan on having kids for another 5years or so.... I wanna look hot now in my 20's and show off and have fun looking sexy while going clubbing. I would hate to get them older after i have kids and am a mother an will probably be more conservative.

More power to all the fantastic women who could wait and in the long run probably did the smart thing by doing so but i am inpatient and want everything now hehehe.

Please list the reason why you chosse your answer and if u could do it again if you would have changed. (eg had breast augmentation before kids, if u could do it again should have waited)

I waited until after. LOL don't assume because we wait until after we do not go out and have fun or show them off. I would bet that there is a lot of moms on here that are still younger too. (all my friends including myself still go out, get dressed up etc and we are all 30 or older)

I would have had to do redo them if I didn't wait and that would be another 7000-10000 that I wasn't about to put into breasts if I didn't have to. I was told to wait by PS and glad I listened. Some get it done before and have no changes to their breasts after and some do

Before... I know what I want now and who knows how many years down the road I will have kids, if i even ever do? (Of course, I do want to eventually, but you never know what the future holds). Live your life right now! I think a lot of women get breast augmentation after kids because they can lose breast tissue or sag, and they want their old boobies back! I felt kind of selfish for wanting bigger breasts when I didn't have any breast tissue loss or sag, but if you're doing it for yourself then that's a great thing!

I waited too but only because I was happy before with my size and then when I had my first child, I knew they'd never be the same. So, since I wanted a second I thought i would just wait until afterwards. I always thought I had to be "done" having kids but now I don't feel that way. I do still feel like I am done though, I have my hands full!

I totally agree!! i dont have kids yet and I debated this topic for a long time...but i decided i want to enjoy them for as many years as possible! Who know, after I have kids I may even downsize to be more conservative....but why wait to be happy?? :-)

I waited for after. Before kids I was happy enough with my body but it wasn't until having kids and breastfeeding that I found myself truly appreciating what my body can do and wanting to show that off! The breast augmentation is to treat myself after feeding 3 awesome boys f.o.r.e.v.e.r!!!

I would do what ever makes you comfy

Mine didn't change looks after kids but the breast feeding certainly caused my c.c

so i fixed it after my last kiddo

I had my boys before my breast augmentation. We might have 1 more kid but are leaning towards being done. I never cared to have a breast augmentation before I had kids b/c even though they weren't as big as I wanted, they were still perky and pretty. After having my boys and BFing my 2nd for about a month, they deflated and are not perky at all.

If you don't plan on having kids for quite some time, I don't see a problem with having a breast augmentation now. Obviously you are going to have to get a lift once you are done having kids to perk them up but I don't think it's wrong by any means. Besides, you are having a breast augmentation for YOU and if you are taking time to enjoy your life before having kids then you should do it and not worry about what others say.

This 47 year old totally agrees and believe it or not still dresses up and goes out. I wouldn't have missed breast-feeding my kids for anything in the world. Ladies with breast augmentation's can certainly still breastfeed but it does make re-do's alot more common. I'm glad that I waited til after the kids but in retrospect would have gotten them done sooner than I did

I know many women that had their breasts done before kids and everything was fine.

My first consult with Dr. Rey (before he was even a celeb or known) My oldest daughter was 2 years old. I was told by a woman just after that, that she also had hers done before having children, but after the pregnancy expansion from milk etc. Her left one seemed to have over dropped and would even slide into her armpit because of the stretch of pregnancy (she was not a dr. rey patient btw) After speaking with her and already being married and having a two year old I decided to wait to have children. Although most of the time breast augmentation does not affect your ability to nurse, there is a chance - so that is number one reason I waited till I was done having children. And secondly, the possibility of problems after having a child and having to go in for a redo anyways.

Yes, most women get their redone around 10 years on average, but I had a 2 year old and planned on having another soon. So therefore I decided to wait. Little did I know my husband was going to be diagnosed with cancer, he fought years and thank God he won the battle. We had our second daughter through IVF using his banked sperm (prior to chemo) and my eggs. She is now 3 and will be 4 November 4th. I got my breast augmentation in September, since we decided we will not be having anymore kids.

So thanks my story! If I was young and wasnt planning on kids for years down the line, I probably wouldnt have waited - only since I already had one and was planning another soon is why I chose to wait.

I personally dont think there is a right or wrong way to this question.

I had mine after, because I didn't do it because I wanted bigger boobs; I did it only to have back what I lost after my son was born.

I'm almost 2 years post op and a little over 2 years into my marriage. DH and I knew we wanted kids someday and we didn't expect to wait all that long. I'm pregnant and not worried about my boobs at all. Besides, we don't know what condition our bodies will be in after babies, it's impossible to know for sure. Just because I have implants doesn't make me any more prone to problems than someone who doesn't. There are women who have no problems with their boobies after pregnancy, b/a's or not. Most of my friends that have b/a's had children after and they still look great

I'm not planning on breast feeding, either and before my b/a my boobies were perky as could be. Hey, if I get saggy, deflated boobies after my baby then I'll be the first in my family...lol...and I'll get them fixed, no biggie

) I always knew I wanted children but my boobies needed help sooner than that...so I figured I'd get them done when I did and when the time came to fix them IF it was needed I would. I know some people who have had kids after being prego and their boobs look awesome (and they have implants)...there's factors that can play a part in how your boobs will react to pregnancy...your skin elasticity....is you skin naturally thin? stuff like that...It's definitely a personal choice ..and like I said, if my boobs get messed up after I'm done having kids then I can always get them re-done..which by that time who knows if it'll be time to have them replaced or not? It's not something that bothers me....

I had my breast augmentation after having kids, but it was mainly due to the fact that before I had kids, I had waaaayyyy too much going on with college and working full-time, not to mention the fact that we didn't make enough money back then with my DH being in the military to have it done. Would I have had it done if we had the money/time back then??...hell yes! I've been self conscious about my chest since I was in junior high and would have LOVED to have had them even sooner!

I didnt have my breast augmentation/BL till after my kids because I liked my boobs just fine until after they went postal from having children.

Otherwise, personally I wouldnt have taken the risk of surgery just to have larger breasts. I was content with my perky c cup. 2 kids later and I was a socks-full-of-rocks C.

I said after, I was lucky enough to have something there, was a c cup most of my teens and 20's.....things didnt change for me until after having my second child, at that time I also lost alot of weight....things really went bad after my 3rd child. that is why I had them done now at age 30 after 3 kids, to get that shape back

I waited until after. The two reasons are:

1. I loved my pre-children boobs. They were a C and not huge, but not small either. I also needed a slender and proportionate body for my job.

2. I didn't want to risk not being able to nurse any future children.

Just today though (at my consult) I thought, how fun it would have been to go out clubbing with some bigger boobies. At the time, it never really occurred to me.

hey Dee-D i have 3 great kids and i am finally having mine done (hopefully soon).i also wanted them done before but never really followed up on it as i have now,maybe i didnt want it enough!after breast feeding my boobies have gone to an a cup and when i was breastfeeding they were a d so it was a massive difference in size for me.It would be nice to have boobies without the tummy for a change .I used to say i wanted to grow old gracefully when i was in my 20s now im in my 30s DO I WANT TO BE CONSERVATIVE AND GROW OLD GRACEFULLY HELL NO HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA now i wanna be a hot mumma

every one wants to look hot with or without kids the only difference is not everyone admits it hahahahah xxxx

I had my kids first - but I had great boobies before kids!! I didn't appreciate them at the time though, and now I miss them

I had my kids young (first one when I was 20) and am done for sure now so I'm ready to get my pre-baby boobies back!

I couldn't vote b/c I had mine after my son but now we are TTC #2 and that will be our last....We never planned to have more than the one but now it has become apparent that we want just one more....So I am in the middle...
