I haven't purchased it yet. I'm still thinking it over. I just spent a crap load on Christmas and am in the middle of remodeling the house. I don't really want to fork out the $100 even though it's not a bad deal.

I was told by mentor that there is about a 15 day grace period following the 45 days. I am past the 45 as we speak.

I purchased the extended warranty through Mentor for the $100 that way it covers me up to $2400 of any fees if something happens to the implant ~ I am also in the Mentor silicone 10 year study which covers the implant if something happens to it but the study does not cover surgeon, hospital fees, etc so I figured $100 is a wise investment so that if anything does happen...I'll have the implants covered by the silicone study and I'll have up to $2400 for the extended warranty to cover my surgeon, hospital fees, etc ... and if the fees happen to be say $3000 ...I'll only have to pay $600 out of pocket rather than the whole cost of $3000 (that's just a number I threw out there for an example) ~

I would definitely take advantage of the extended warranty if I were any of you

I see in your profile you had your BA on 1/03, you still have time. Go here and pick your manufacturer to read the different warranties. The warranties come from the manufacturers, not the PS, so you will contact them about the warranty.

I have Mentor implants, I was able to order mine over the phone. They mailed the warranty info to me. If you do it this way you will need your device cards (get this from your PS).

We all know that these puppies aren't 100% lifetime so I figured that "extra" insurance for only $100 was a STEAL!!! How long did it take everyone else to get their information from Mentor after registering online? I've not gotten mine yet.

When I had my BA, I sent it via s-mail.
I think I received the confirmation as well as info in mail within a month.
