Hi ladies, I am getting close to 45 days post op and have decided to purchase the Mentor Enhanced Advantage Warranty. It is 100.00, but offers:

10 years, and up to $2400. financial assist. for operating room, anasthesia, and surgical charges not covered by Ins. I know there is a standard one that comes with Mentor for :

10 years and up to $1200. financial assist. for the same as above.

Anyway, I was just curious how many of us decided to purchase the extra warranty?? Thanks for your answers in advance, have a great day!

I did....I figured it is only $100.00 and if anything that it covers happens it would save me $1200.00 over all so I opted to.....

I purchased it. I figured it would be worth the $100 if anything happened. My PS said if my implants ruptured he would replace them for the $2400 instead of the normal $3800 he charges.

They gave it to me but they didn't offer it to me or explain what it was.
I found it on my purse after days of being high by the pain meds...

I knew about it and stupidly didnt buy it (you only have like a 45 day window or something). I was like "puh, I dont need this." So stupid! One Hundred bucks is nothing for what theyre offering.

I got the extended one with Inamed.

I think it'll be well worth it so that I have less stress if I ever need a redo for a leak or rupture.

I did get the enhanced warranty but for free. I have no idea why but I think they were doing a special offer. Just got all my paperwork/proof at post-op yesterday!

I got it and figured what the heck, I pay for insurance for just in case, so why can't I do the same for my sisters. I figured $100 isn't that bad.

I didn't get the extended warranty because my PS says that as long as they get the 1200 to cover for the OR and anesthesia and they get the new set of implants he will not charge a dime on me. Goes under customer satisfaction apparently!
