One Side Bigger - HELP!
Hi, I'm new here. Had procedure on 05/04/07 - transax incision, 325 ccs on right, 330 ccs on left, under the muscle. Went from an AA to I think a small C.
My recovery has gone very well but here is my question. ALmost from the start my left one has seemed bigger. I mentioned it at my one week appointment and my PS agreed but said it was higher and needed to drop. Well, I think it has dropped some since then but is still bigger - if anything it seems even bigger now. Now it looks like the right one is higher than the left but still smaller. The left one also seems a little softer than the right. What gives? I've read the posts extensively on this topic - if one is higher does that make it seem bigger or smaller? Is it possible my left one is fluffing faster than the right? I know he put a tiny bit more ccs in the left but I'm not sure it's enough to make the difference I'm seeing. I go for my one-month visit at the end of this week, so we'll see what happens. In the meantime, please put my mind at ease! Thanks for your help. |

So, you are a little over 3 weeks post-op, right? It sounds like what you need is a good dose of TIME!! I think it is normal for unders to go through many changes, especially early on, but even for the first year. And of course, your boobies will be different in healing times because it is two surgeries. The cc difference is basically no difference, as I believe it takes about 100 to 150cc to go up a cup size. (Someone correct me here if I'm wrong!). Have you measured with a tape measure? Sometimes it is helpful to track changes that way. However, really and truly, I think you just have to give your boobies time to heal, drop, and fluff. It's good you have a check up next week, so you can hear what your PS says! |

Hello love and welcome. Do like Terrie suggested and get a tape measure. Measure from the inside where your boob starts, over your nipple, to the very outside where your boob stops. Measure both sides and see if the difference is really what it seems to you. When I had just had mine done I felt like one was much bigger than the other but they both measured exactly the same. So I think the difference that I saw was due to one being higher than the other. The higher one seemed much bigger to my eye but the tape measure told another story.

I am having the same concerns, so I am hoping that in time they will seem to be a little more even in size. I do think one of mine is higher still. |

My left one looked huge compared to my right for the first few weeks. Mine are measuing the same, but one nipple sits lower then the other, projecting the left to look somewhat bigger. I don't think this is going to change unless it's just because it hasn't dropped completley. I'm still early on too so I will just wait it out. But definatly give it some time.

I have been assured that it is perfectly normal that there is some size difference before they settle. I wouldn't panic Jo x |
