My PS used a laser on my scars Thursday included in price and said they should be minimal within the year - (underarm).

Stung like you know what!!!!!

My PS has me using silicone strips. He said to use them a minimim of 10 hours a day. But I only ever take them off when I shower.
I didnt use anthing my previous BA's except surgical tape to stop the scar from stretching. And i scared really bad previous BA's.
So lets hope these silicone strips work. He also said they are really good for fading old scars.

When my tapes come off (2 weeks?) I'll be using Manuka Honey on mine. I have had really good results with it in the past, then after a couple of weeks I'll switch to Emu Oil.

I am going to be using dermatix-c, just waiting for the incisions to heal a bit more before I start the good old scar therapy

My PS said not to use vitamin E because it can cause the scar to expand or stretch, has anyone else heard this?

I have not heard this but because a lot of women swear by it, I started to use it to. There is so much confusing information sometimes!

i havent had my ba yet but i use mederma on myhip strecth marks and plan to use it and cocoa butter firming lotion after my BA..
i have always had good results with the mederma on other scars too.. i a prone to forming keloids (extra scar tissue) and am a lil nervous about how that might impact my bewbies..

Silimed polyurethane foam covered, 325cc, over the muscle, high profile.
