when would the other side d&f?

I'm almost 6 weeks post BA. My right side is really nice and the bottom is round and fleshy. I assume that my right side has already dropped nicely, but, my left side is still quite high, and the bottom of my left side is not round or fleshy.

I wonder how long it will take for the other side to drop. Is it normal for 2 sides to drop at such different rates?

By the way, am I right to assume that swelling has gone down after 6 weeks, and the size that I have now will not become smaller?

What I have learned from the other ladies in this forum is to remember that each breast is a different surgery & will heal differently.

With that said, I would think it would be safe to say that your breasts are dropping & fluffing at different times, however it may be a good idea to mention to your doctor at your next follow up appt. Is that coming up soon? Otherwise you may want to pop in & let them have a look at it just to ease your mind.

All of us are different & heal differently, there is a good chance that your swelling has all gone down and you are the size that you will remain. (I am close to the same post op as you, my ba was Aug 14th and I believe that all of my swelling is gone now.)

I have read about girls on the site that took a coup[le of months to D & F fully. My PS said that all of the swelling shuld be gone by a month. And I found that to be true.

Mine have both dropped and they did so at the same time, but they are still fluffing. Cuz they still change shape everyday. So be patient, you are still early on HTH
