My story is pretty standard, except I could not wake up in recovery. Very tired & nauseated. gave 2 diff med, then finally the patch worked. Ride home was a blurr. Too tired to even look at them. Slept til 4, then finallly took a peek. so exciting to see boobies. After that I couldn't sleep much, poor hubby had to get me up every 3 hrs to pee. Today I sure needed the meds. Right one sort of burns, also not very hungry. Vanilla yogurt is helpful w/meds. Now hoping to soften up soon. My skin is so stretched. Ice is my new best friend. ok going to rest now. Thanks to all of you.

woooooo you poor thing, you sound out of it, but it will all be worth it.......we will be here when you wake up!!! congrats!

So happy for you!!! I had alot of the burning sensation too. It'll pass as the swelling goes down. Congrats and enjoy the girls!!!

Yay, congrats!! I had some anti nausea meds in my IV because I stressed that was a big fear as I have had anesthesia twice before and was sicker than a dog.

I woke up with absolutely NO nausea, so must be the meds worked!

I hope you get feeling better soon, it is aweful to feel so sick like that.
