Nipple Sensitivity!!

Hello Ladies,
I have a couple quick questions for you. I am 3 weeks post op and my left nipple is killing me. It feels like the nipple is chaffed but it isn't-- it is just nerve sensation and it is very painful when my bra moves across it the slightest bit. Is this normal? If so, how long should I expect it to last?

My second question: My left breast has dropped nicely but my right still hasn't dropped much and it's visibly higher. I am faithfully doing the massaging several times a day. When should I expect the right side to drop?

I am sooooo happy I got this BA done though, and feel so lucky to have all of you out there for support. It's been a great experience and I love my new ladies!!

This is the first time I ever posted. I've been a little confused as to how to do a new thread. Can you tell me how to post in the general discussion? Thanks. Sorry

I experienced the same pain in my nipples..they were so sore to the touch. My p/s said it was my nerves regenerating and such. I even had a really intense buring sensation in my right nipple that would last for 10-15 seconds..sometimes it would hit me in class and it was all I could from grabbing a hold of my breast..lol For me, this lasted for a few weeks on and off.

As far as your breasts dropping, everyone is different

I'm glad you are happy with your b/a..congrats!!!

Hey
I know this is in newbie BUT YES mine hurt so bad! I could rip em off and I think it would hurt less. Can't wait for it to settle down! I put ora-gel mouth stuff on em and it helped a little (I know it sounds weird but its numbing stuff and its pretty effective good luck!!!

Glad you are happy, love! The girls will continue to change over time. Nerves are regenerating and the length of time varies (I still have a twinge or two every now and then) But I tried nipple pads (the kind used when breast feeding)between them and a bra. My left breast was my slow one!
