It seems some of the swelling has gone down a little bit, but in the process my boobs feel REALLY tight - almost like my belly did when I was preg. and having a contraction - not that HARD to touch, but the sensation of the muscle being all tense - does that make any sense??? Is this what it's supposed to feel like? It doesn't hurt at all, just super tight and annoying!!! Does icing help this or am I just SOL? I'm just feeling really 'trapped' and 'suffocated' in this crappy post-op bra they make you wear and I am dying for some relief! haha

I am 12 days post op. Mine do this too espeicially when I have been busy doing things that are probably working those muscles. They do feel alot like contractions during pregnancy.

Glad I'm not crazy in thinking that then - the comparison seems strange that is def. what it reminds me of! haha

That is exactly how I feel. I was organizing my drawers this morning and felt like the pregnancy contractions on
my breasts. I had to stop and lay down until it went away. I think it is the muscle that is over the implants.

Try cocoa butter on them....might help with skin tightening feeling.........and the just time!\

I wonder of magnesium would help (instead of going back to muscle relaxer). My naturopath says to take magnesium for menstrual cramps and also muscle spasms related to exercise. It can't hurt and if you combine it with calcium you'll help your bones too!

I still get that .. and the longer the day goes on the more sore my chest gets. I massage...that's the best cure I know of. I even sneak to the bathroom at work once or twice a day and massage just to get some relief.

Just make sure you don't get any on unhealed incisions. That can lead to problems.
Icing could help. It helped me quite a bit. So does massage, when your PS gives you the ok to do it.
