Hello Ladies
I wrote on another post about having cc and waiting for surgery well my doctors office called and has scheduled my surgery for July 3. I was also informed that I have to pay 2600.00 for the anesthesia and ER nurse. I couldnt believe more money after the 8500.00 I have already spent. Even though it is the doctors mistake for not making the pocket large enough. Sorry about venting it just makes me mad I cant live lopsided the rest of my life. So surgery it is. I will definately keep everyone posted as to my progress after surgery. |

I wish you the very best with your upcoming surgery. I am not sure though, what you mean, if you have capsular contraction, I dont think that has anything to do with the ps and pockets..

Unfortunately the pocket was made too small and the scar tissue has formed around the pocket which will not allow the implant to fall into place. Im a crazy mess.

Thanks for letting me know about the cc being covered by Ohip I had no clue I just assumed since I chose the breast augmentation in the first place that it was my responsability. My preop is next Monday so I am wondering if they will mention it to me. Its frustrating forking out more money when you have already paid so much and I certainly didnt expect cc. Just wondering if you had the same experience cdnsarx3? Thanks again.

I just re-read your orignal post. Ohip will pay the doctor but not the nurse. Not sure about the anestestis (I know I spelt that wrong) So maybe my PS just ate the cost of the nurse and the other doc...not sure.
Good luck to you! |

Wow you really made my day. I am not getting a new implant as far as I know. How did you go about getting OHIP to pay for the cc surgery? Does the doctor do that or will I have to? Also wondering how you are doing now after the fix? I have heard it is more painful then the actual first surgery. Just read your last post and I will still look into it, it wouldnt hurt.
