I have wanted my boobs done since birth. No JOKE! I have a wonderful, supportive husband who backed me 100% when the time was right (last Wednesday). I love the way they look in a bathing suit but other than that, I am having a little regret. This is much harder than I ever imagined. I am so exhausted! I have two girls that I barley entertained today and I feel like I was beat to death. I feel like I am never going to get to the other side of this. I feel like I want to cry and I am not a whiney person. I don't feel like I can talk to my husband about this because he has bent over back wards to do what makes me happy...
Has anyone else had the boobie blues?

I might have had a mild case of it, but it WILL pass! Today was probably the FIRST day that it didn't feel like I had had anything done to my boobs. They didn't bother me, didn't hurt . . . it was GREAT! Just know that the way you are feeling will soon pass, and everything will be GREAT!

So, 19 more days to go. As soon as I wake up in the morning I am constantly reminded that I have boobs b/c they are so sore and hurt so bad when I take off my bra.

Yeppers . . . at day 5, I was hatin life cuz I was HURTIN and had to return to work. It WILL get better, I promise! Once they stop bothering you so much, and you can see how great you look (without the discomfort associated with it) . . . you won't even remember those first 20 days!

Thank you so much! Your words give me the inspiration to get up and do it all over again tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some good rest tonight.

I definitely had boobie blues and am just starting to recoop. It is hard when you have kids and have to go right back to doing, though everyone tries to say, don't do that. You still feel like there are mommy duties that have to be done. Either you do to much and worry because you are sore or know it is not something the PS wants you to do or you shirk the kids and feel like you "I shirked them for boobs, and should I have done that". It will pass. I would say mine started about the same time as yours and believe it or not. I feel I love my boobs just 5, 6, 7 days later and it is worth it.

I promise the exhaustion will pass. The week after my surgery I stayed tired. I could do nothing and still be tired. But today I woke up after only 4 1/2 hrs of sleep and felt wonderful. My co-workers said I finally had some color to my face too.
SO I promise it will get better and as you watch your boobies change everyday, you will see how much it was worth it. |

you're okay!
Most of us go through this! You are not alone and yes, it will pass. It is so hard, but you'll be through. Do only what has to be done right now. Survive and remember the kids are resilient! They will be fine! Another week or two and you'll be might brighter and more who you want to be. A month from now, you'll be right back to your old self and loving your boobies! It will get so much better! Hang in there!

HI
I was in soooo much pain and not able to move for a good 3-4 days. I will be 2 weeks tomorrow and feel good, the only thing is when you start feeling better its easy to over do things cuz your so jazzed about not feeling crappy. Give it time you will feel so much better in a few days Colsie |

I had a bad case of "boobieblues" my first time around. It did pass though, and in the end I was thrilled with the choice/decision of having a ba. We are all different, and our recovery process is as well. Hang in there, the day WILL come when you will feel *normal* and not tired, or sore or anything except proud and happy of the new girls~

i know exactly how you feel... i was like that the first couple of weeks. i think i had a really bad recovery compared to most but it will pass so hang in there!
![]() im only starting to come around to appreciate them - but now my complaint is that they look like they're shrinking (swelling went down). i went from boobie blues to boobie greed!
