It's been 5 days since my BA and this morning I noticed bruising right below my incision(periareolar). I didn't have any bruisings before and am worried that it might have happened because I did something wrong. I started massaging on
day 3 as my PS told me to but yesterday(day 4) was when I really massaged.
Do you think this is normal or should I call my PS ? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I don't think its unusual to have bruising. Does it feel warm to touch, do you have a fever? Does it look like a regular bruise or a deeper color? If you're really worried, wouldn't hurt to give your PS a call.

I had crease incisions, and on one I had a bruise right on the edge. Its kind of wrried me at the starts, but so bruising was to be expected- I had one on the top of the same boob, so I guess that was the difficult one!
It took quite along time to go away (about 4 weeks- its only just gone), but it wasn't a problem. If its painful or gets bigger, I'd ask your PS.

I've got bruising along both incisions as well (mine are crease), and noticed today that I have light yellow-greenish colored brusing between the boobs too - I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. They do alot of pulling on your tissue during the surgery so I'm sure it's normal, unless you are experiencing more pain than usual or as someone else stated, fever or significant reddness or warmth to the area.
