So I got my BA three days ago and went to my post op the day after my surgery. The doctor's assistant told me to press down on the left breast because it is slightly higher than the right. This was not the case before the BA, so I'm starting to feel a bit worried that this is abnormal. The assistant acted like it was perfectly routine, but I'm still a little worried, since so many women on this forum are told not to touch them for a month or more. Have any of you had a similar experience?

Silly paranoia...

I don't want to be disfigured. Oh.. also... they sort of look like torpedoes right now (the term "torpedo" courtesy of my bf lol). Is this simply a result of the tightness? Cause I'm not likin' the Madonna look so much.

Completely normal! At lot of the girls on here will say, you've had 2 separate operations on each boob so they will heal differently and a different rates. At only 3 days Post op you still have SO much changing and stuff to happen. Don't stress and just use this time to let your body heal itself! Enjoy. They look amazing already!

When they drop and soften they will look totally different. I think you look great for 3 days out!! Not topedoish(maybe not a word)at all to me! You are gonna be so HOT!!!

You look marvolous... They will drop in time. I am still waiting for my lefty to take shape and stop hurting. just give it time....

Perfectly normal. I had the same problem with my left breast and my ps had me doing the same thing. Also had to wear my strap over the left and under the right in an S shape for 6 weeks. It finally dropped and evened out. Don't worry, I'm sure yours will too, just give it a little more time!

from what I have heard, it's normal. Your boobs will settle sometimes together and sometimes one and then the other. Just do what the PS says!!! I touch my boobs few days later with light massages and now I can do awhole lot more with them!!

I was told to begin massaging the day after my surgery. Same thing pressing down on the tops. I was told to do it a little more on the left because that one was my sore one. So I listened. Well that one has now dropped a bit where as the right one is still quite high. It's normal. One of mine is making its decent South and the other is clinging to its pornstar look career. Good Luck!!!

Another "totally normal" from me too - my right was way higher than my left, and is still lagging behind in terms of dropping, but trust me, they WILL even out.

I have the same problem. My rught is higher than my left, I have to wear the strap for another week, the nurse said she is confident it will go down and sit even with the left.

Funny thing is, I think my right looks better, it has a nice natural looking slope too it.

Totally normal.

They are probably telling you to do that because one is dropping faster than the other. They probably told you to do it because they sensed your frustration and wanted to help you get to ' normal ' faster.

Hope they've started moving for you now. I still have the same look. I posted some pics to an album under my profile and you can see the difference. I did feel righty soften a little more today so I'm hoping that means it'll start dropping now. Good Luck!!!
