bruising
I am 3 days post-op and a little worried, waiting on the nurse to call me back - my bruise on the rightie near the incision has some blood under the skin, looks like popped blood vessels. Is this normal?

Could possibly be hematoma....or it could just be severe bruising, you need to see you ps imo.

definetly could be a hematoma. Just watch it to make sure it dosn't get any bigger. Let your ps know. Not sure there is much they can do for that unless it gets bigger. I have some pretty bad brusing under the big boobies I just watched it. When I saw my ps he didn't say anything much about it. keep us updated

I have the same thing, and PS said it's normal. It's more of a redder bruise than a bluer bruise, right? But I'm glad you called your PS to confirm, when do you see him/her next?

When I explained what it looks like the nurse said it's normal. Today it's just mostly black. My post-op is Wed.

If you have any concerns, you should definitely be in touch with your ps. This site is great for input, but nothing substitutes for inperson medical care.
