At about 6 weeks my boobs looked normal enough for a bikini. But I never had that high square look really.
This was my 2 week post op pics:

You will be fine wearing a bikini for the 4th. As long as it has some support for the girls i dont see ant reason why you couldnt!! Show off those new boobies!!

Go for it sweetie! Make sure you get a bikini that will support you well. Maybe see if you can find a halter top bikini? Have fun and enjoy the girls!

Keep your scars covered. You can make them darker by not keeping them covered, my PS suggested putting a band aid or surgical tape over them in the event that the suit slips.

Shoooot! I just had mine two days ago and I will SO be wearing a bikini over the 4th of July weekend! No visible scars (nipple sutures only), so I'm good. :-) The first time in my life I've ever been excited about a bikini! Yae!

I will enjoy the cruise...I'll be in my bikini 7 days on that cruise!!! I'm hoping to start running the week before, because all this lack of excerises has gone to my hips!!!!!!!!

I had my BA on June 11 and have been wearing a bikini for over a week now.....not swimming, obviously, but in a week or so I can swim, too!
I say as long as it doesn't hurt, you can wear one. Some PS tell girls to not wear a bra at all, but some tell them to wear a bra 24/7, so I'm sure a bikini will be ok. |
