Ok here goes the questions, my Doctor's office called the other day to have my surgery done later since he had to have surgery on his hand...OMG lol. Well now it is for July 25th, when I went for my post-op he said that 500 cc's were what I should go with, I'am 5'11 145 pounds, is there anyone out there with that size of implants who is around my size and height that have pics, I'am beginning to think that might to big for me. Also I have to travel 3 1/2 hrs so I was wondering if the trip home the next day might be to much, and why is it when I read some of these post that alot of that you can't drive I would like to know why. I have to tell you that reading all of these post has given me a security blanket and I look forward to reading them every day, I can't wait for mine to be done and over with, but being here is halping alot. Not sure about the cc size... that is something your ps is an expert as so just make sure he knows what you want by bringing in pictures. Of course you won't turn out exactly like the pics, but it will give him a better idea of the outcome you'd like and he can assign cc's based on that. I swear I was so mad when he said he'd only put 300 cc's in me because I didn't think that would give me anything significant, but now I see I was wrong. I love them!

As far as driving... The same day I had my b/a (yesterday) I was completely HIGH for about 2 hours afterwards (chatty kathy! asking the surgeon a million questions so they made my ride hurry and come pick me up! ha ha). My girl brought me home and then I slept most of the day. My boobs felt a lot of pressure, but I felt fine other than that. Once my pain pills wore off I did drive to taco bell because I didn't have anything to eat at home an I was STARVING! The reason you should not drive yourself is due to the meds you will be given. I was given Vicodin for pain, Keflex for antibiotic, Temazepam for sleeping, Robaxin for pain/muscle relaxer, and the patch that goes behind your ear to prevent nausea. So you can see that for the first couple days you'll be pretty out of it. Although I have been feeling great and have only used the pills twice today (instead of the recommended 4 times a day). A friend drove me to my 24-hour post-op appt today and then we stopped at the store and I've been feeling great! I'll be totally fine by tomorrow (besides the pressure sensation in my boobs) and I have a 3 hour road trip I have to make on Sunday... so I'll definitely be driving and not needing my pills anymore. Everyone recovers different. There is a thread on here with a girl who has been absolutely miserable. Oh, I had my implants done OVER the muscle, so that takes off a considerable amount of recovery time, which made me really happy!

I agree with the previous post, the result after x amount of cc's varies by each person. I have 450 HP and while some girls have accomplished D's it looks like I have a C.

As for driving. Your range of arm motion will be very limited. That combined with pain meds, make it unsafe. It's not whether you can drive or not, it's whether you could respond instantly if something happened, like swerving real fast. I drove to the quick mart up the road from my house 3 days post op and at that time I'd compare it to what your muscles feel like when you never use them and suddenly do something that works them out. HTH.

Thanks for the replys girls, I would also what pain have any have you had except for feeling pressure on your chest. I know that the recovery time is different for everyone, anymore advise will be read. Thanks again!

I am just about your height and weight and have 630cc's in a saline high profile.
I drove at 10 days post op. Didn't have any need to before then as my hubby and bff took care of my every need.
I can't say any of it is harsh pain, just super sore and tight, but pain meds and muscle relaxers take care of that.

Oh, you'll have your surgery on my b-day!!

You look great a little bigger then what I want, I'am just thinking that 500 cc's are huge and that when I go back to work it will be so noticable that everyone will be talking,(I work with alot of men) my husband thinks that that size will be just right for me, still nervous about it. I have read so much from this sight and learned alot, since I found that the Doctor and his nurse didn't really give me alot of info, plus I have to go pick up my meds and I don't even know what there are since no one has told me, there are days where I want to cancel this whole thing, but I keep readin and see how happy so many of you are.
