Getting Measured

hey, read a few bra posts, how long after the op did you girls get measured?
im on week 3 of my op, and most if not all the swelling has gone down, i went to La Senza, and bought a 32A
bra (i am a 30 band, but can get away with 32, i starte dof 30AA so 32A is equivlent of 30B)
anyway, this bra just about fits, but the band doesnt sit flat on the ribcage, but im still quite firm, im not complaining if i end up a 32B/30C cuz thats bigger than what i was after and they look brilliant, they really do, but i dont want to buy loads before i get measured, so yeh, after the babble, how long did you wait?

I would love to know that too. I went to VS the other day and was very happy to shop out of the 34-6 C sale bin rather than try to piece through the sad little 34 A's. I was going to ask one of the ladies, but I was too embarrased. Right now I think I have too much brusing the ba is totaly obvious.

I would go ahead and buy a few bras that you will be comfy in the next couple of months, but don't spend a lot of money. I was a 32DD/34D up until the last 2-3 weeks and now i'm a 32E/34DD!!

You need some good bras to get you through, but I really wish I hadn't spent the $$ that I did so I could have a shopping spree now!

I got measured at about a month po, but have since gotten measured again, and probably need to again since some of my bras arent fitting so swell as of late! You are going to experience lots of changes in the coming weeks and months, so more than likely you will need too be measured again later. Congrats on your new boobies btw!!

I would agree with the others. Buy some but don't like get a whole entire set. I think things move around for quite awhile. I was curious does anyone know if VS actually sells 30 bands at the stores? I too can really use a 30 band better but since 32 is what is easier to find that's what I usually use. But it would be nice to get 30 band if they are easier to find in a larger cup size. im gonna get some soft bras, just cuz this surgical bra is rank lol
ive only bought one set which was in the sale, just cuz i coudnt resist
but yeh i will be a month po next weekend so i might get measured
round about then.
i have a feeling i might end up more of a C cup, which is 1 cup size bigger
than i expeced woo

I'm curious to know what you end up with. Glad you are happy with your size and look. I bought a bra 2days before my ba 32B (remember, i wanted to be a full B) but ended up changing that to a 32D. I bought 2 more bras at 2weeks post because I hated always wearing a sports bra during the day time. But I'm probably going to wait until about 6~8 weeks to really go bra shopping.
