Is this normal?

My surgery was Friday...it's now Sunday....today is the 1st day I don't feel like I was hit by a truck..lol.

anyway, here's my question...ever since i got the first look at the twins (a few hours after surgry) I notice it indents where my incision is, then it sort of pops back out...kinda like mmy boob sitting on another boob..I've heard of the whole double bubble thing? Could this be it...would it be that way DIRECTLY after surgery or could this be swelling? HELP!

On a side note, BOTH breasts look exactly the same.

More than likely it's swelling. I wouldn't worry, but if it's bothering you, call your PS and ask if it's normal. You'll probably be going in for a post op in a few days anyway. If it's still there, point it out.

First off - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

As far as your question - hon, what you look like after 2 days is WORLDS different than what you will end up with!! You are without a doubt swollen beyond comprehension. Don't think for a second that what you have is abnormal - it's totally normal. I used to tell people during my first two weeks post-BA that I look like a sideshow freak, because seriously, I had frankenboob on one side, and a fishbowl on the other side. It'll all settle down, but it takes weeks and months....

-Tiger

That is EXACTLY what I had! With Sils you have a bigger incision and it makes sense that it would be swollen. Mine looked like a slight double bubble. It went away and my incisions are healing well.

Thanks girls!

I called PS and they said it's def. normal..something about creating a new inframammary fold or something along that lines...she said it would go away and already is worlds better today!

I'm feeling better today..less sore, more able to do things on my own...just waiting for the big drop and fluff now...lol.
