1st post & have a bra question?
Hi everyone! I've been a constant visitor/reader here for the last few weeks and want to say Thank You so much for everything I've learned! This is really the best place!!
I had my BA just the other day on the 25th and I have a question I hope someone here will help me with? My PS said to wear this sports bra (ugly things aren't they?) for 10 days then I can wear regular wireless bras. My question is, how will I know what size to buy since I assume I still have to get over all this hideous swelling and do the drop & fluff thing? Thanks in advance for any help you feel like giving this newcomer Cyndi |

I get the cheap FOTL from Walmart. I just get my band size 32 and buy the ones where the cups are stretchy, they will fit in them! I also got some that hook in the front! I still wear sportsbra alot of the time. As for the wireless bra's you can pretty much find those anywhere too even Wal-mart. I wouldn't spend alot of money on them for a couple months. Just try them on till you find one that comfy! Good Luck!!

I bought Hanes generic sports bras from Target-one in a size 34, one in a size 36. One of them will fit better and I can return the other. But in all honesty, as ugly as the surgical bra I was sent home with from the PS office, it is by far the most comfortable!

I have to wear a sportsbra for a month 24/7. Then after 2 weeks I can at least sleep without it on. I got mine at Walmart fasten in the front. Got a 34 since that's bigger and ended up having to go get 36 because I had grown. As for your other bras I would go to target or walmart. I just dropped on one side and gained a cup size. I've been told I might grow more because I am not completely dropped. Don't spend a lot.

Definetly save your pennies right now. Go to walmart or target. They have pretty inexpensive ones. Then when your girls are sittin' pretty spurge at VS and get some super sexy ones...

I got my zip-up sports bras from JcPenney. They're on sale buy one get one for 88 cents, and they normally cost $20 each. I went up a band size and a couple of cup sizes, I think it depends on how big you went.

I definitely agree with sticking to the less expensive ones for now. I remember my first bra fitting after the BA and it wasn't pleasant. they just didn't fit really well in the bra. You have so much changing to do so hold off on VS for now. Good luck!

I don't think you'll really know at first.......I would advise, just don't spend too much on a couple bras you might not be able to wear once you are healed.
