OK, it's been 6 weeks after my BA now. I know it's not so much, plus I have unders and I didn't breastfeed before BA so my skin and tissue where super tight... therefore maybe it's going to take more than average for my boobs to get softer and drop more. But i just don't see it happening.
![]() Because i have anatomicals i didn't realy expect this roundness and a full upper pole. I wanted a natural look, not the "2 balls on my chest" thing. And the bikini season is here!!! I'm relay getting nervous that they will stay like this. Is there any of you good ladies out there, that felt like that after 6 weeks and than still went through a lot of D&F? Please, say yes. ![]()

Where I live people are not so fond of round fake boobies so mine attract a lot of attention. And when i'm in a bikini it's not the good kind of attention. I wouldn't realy care so much just because of other's but they are too round also for my own taste.

You still need to drop. You have the round muscles holding on for dear life look. I am 4 weeks and my right one is still holding on. Are you allowed to massage with your implant? I'm guessing you may not be able to. I would call the PS and ask him if there's anything you can do to help the process. Thing is for me I'm supposed to press from the top down and this helps but with anatomicals I didn't think you were allowed to massage. They will drop though just takes longer for some than others. GL!!!

I didn't D&F properly til around 4 months! At 6 weeks, mine were still very high, and as I had VHP's, I definitely had the "2 half grapefruits" look!! Give it time, I'm sure they'll be absolutely fine... mine were!

Patience is the key. My left is still a bit higher and more tender then the righty. It does get better weekly. Hang in there.

Oh, my goodness.....YES, they WILL CHANGE!!!
I'd say I started to notice the most softening around 3 MONTHS! At 6 weeks out, I *thought* I must be where I was going to end up....and I was a bit depressed about it. It wasn't anything real bad, but they weren't as soft and squishy as I'd hoped. I was sooo wrong!! Even now at 4 months I am still softening up. My ps told me that to completely heal and see the final results of a ba, particulary unders with tight skin/muscle to begin with, can take up to 18 months!!! Are you taking regular pictures? Looking back now....wow, the changes are sooo fun to look at!! Patience is definitely key here....and you can look forward to more changes to come. ![]() |

OMG girls, you can't imagine how much it means to me to hear that. YAAAAAAAAY!!!! Ok, i promise to be more patient.
I'm not allowed to massage but PS advised me to sleep on my stomach as much as possible. I'm taking pics every few days and there is some change but not as much as i would want. Thank you!

You said it perfectly yourself...your skin is tight. This will make a huge difference. They will change and get softer for sure! Mine changed more quickly due to my loose tissue from breastfeeding. Somedays, I want to be higher like you are, because that way, they'll drop to just the right place and not too far!! I think you look great and it will only get better.

It is a little too early to see your final outcome, but I would say month 3 is when I noticed a huge amount of dropping!! Be patient! I have HP's and mine are dropping to where they are actually starting to look natural! My muscles were definitely holding my implants to my chest for quite a while but they do D&F and certainly soften up during month 2-3! You look beautiful btw!!!! I understand your concerns about not wanting them to look too round and "fake"! I have those issues when I'm around family members! I'm sure there are a a few one pieces or tanktinis to cover those babies up for now! But, I think you look fabulous, just give it some more time and I'm sure you will love them!

Let me tell you...you are so perfectly shaped and gorgeous that I wish i could look like you when I'm done. Your PS did a FABULOUS job. Definitely take pictures and skip through a month of them and see the huge difference. You know the old saying about the watched pot never boils? It kinda applies here because you're seeing the GRADUAL change every day. Not the beginning and end result. Congratulations on a fabulous new body!!! Forget all those negative (jealous) people and LOVE your body. It's perfect to all of us out here in Boobieville. Hats (and bras) off to you, girl!! |

I still like how you look now but I think they'll drop and look more natural in the next couple months. In the meantime you may have to wear more covering bathing suits if that makes you feel more comfortable.

I'm only a week and a half out so I'm not speaking from personal experience...
but I have seen LOTS of progression photos of the type of implant you and I got where the upper pole roundness did not dissappear and form a natural slope until 6 months. In fact - the difference between 3 and 6 months in most of the anatomical co-gel progression photos I've seen is quite remarkable. Those are form stable implants you have... they are built to move south. Eventually they are going to get there!

wearing the band might help
I went to 1 week post op visit to see my doctor and she recommended I wear the band for another 10 days. She swears it makes a difference with the breast dropping. Mine are also too high, of course I'm only 1 week post op. However, it might help, but ask your PS just in case. thanks for sharing.
