Exclamation Side Boob Pain

i woke up this morning and my left boob on the side was (and still is) aching. It's like right below my armpit. It's kind of painful..and ranges from sharp pain to like a dull ache. it's only my left side. I noticed that the left side now feels even softer and squishier...I just had my bf do a "squeeze test" so I don't think I'm just imagining things and he said the left feels a little softer....

has anyone gone through this or something similar in the fluffing process? I know it can take about a year to reach your final size and stuff, so I'm wondering if my boobs are now finishng their fluffing....but I don't remember having pain when mine were fluffing early on...and I know it's not a zinger.

help? anyone..please? ~ i don't know if i should be worried or what??

Did you sleep funny last night? Maybe lost the pillow, tossed & turned, stretched in a weird way? That might explain for the side boob pain. I guess gold odl forzen peas to ice teh area might help!

hmm...i'm not sure if i slept in a funny position or not...but it's sure possible. I took some Tylenol PM so that I could get a good night sleep, since I haven't slept much lately....so it's very possible I slept weird since I was zonked out....the pain/ache has subsided now.......wonder if it'll come back...

Me too!

I just started sleeping on my stomach and woke up feeling achy in the breast area (my left) which has taken longer to drop. So, of course I started poking, squeezing and pushing around and sure enough it feels much softer. I told my dh to take a squeeze and he did agree. It must have something to do with the whole dropping process. Weird, too because I have been kinda numb on the bottom part of the same breast and it is starting to feel normal again.

I'm sure you are totally fine. Hope so, cause I'm having your symptoms!!!!

Take care,
Josie

Is it possibly a swollen gland maybe? I know we have them there and sometimes I get a little sore there and notice a day or 2 later that I'm fighting off a virus, etc... just a thought

thanx girlies for all your replies. I knew I wouldn't be alone on this....and am thinking maybe it just has something to do with the fluffing process still....since it did get a lil more softer and squisher...today it's a faint ache...

and, josie..please keep us updated on what your PS says .. thankie

I am like 5 months post op, and have had that same "sensation", mostly on the left but have had it on the right. I had a post op appt last Wed.. my ps said that it is scar tissue. He said that is why its important to massage... that this is part of the *normal* process, but we dont want it to get to the point of being cc.. all of our bodies create scar tissue around the capsule, and some of us can feel this, some of us cant. As long as your breast is soft, and looks ok, he said all is fine. HTH.. I did freak out when it first started as all I could think of was; oh no.. cc...

oh goodness....I'll be massaging more often. I kind of slacked off since my PS said I didn't have to massage anymore (just in the beginning). I do always grab my boobs when I get this feeling and move them around, since I didn't know why I was getting this feeling....my boobs are both soft...the one that has the pain/ache is a little softer but not a whole lot....thank you for the info..very much appreciated.
