How different were your new boobs in the beginning?

I am having one of those days. 8 Days PO, and I just feel like not only are they healing at totally different rates, but I feel that they just are looking so different from each other.

My lefty is higher up and seems to be pushed more towards my armpit with my "old and saggy" boobie under it (my ps said that this is normal for my pre op and it should fill up when they drop) but it looks horrendous. Then there is my righty which has dropped a bit more than my left but seems to be placed more towards the cleavage line making the armpit side look deflated and this one has the sagging under it too.

My cleavage is super close together and I am totally freaking myself out!

I was told by my ps to wear the bra and strap 24/7 except for the massaging and I am doing just that. Have any of you had anything similar to this in the beginning and how did you get through it.

No worries, my dear. I posed the very same question about the same time as you, and my boobies have since undergone an enormous transformation! My left one was super high at first and they were a bit farther apart than I wanted. I was sure to massage them regularly and my PS recommended that I push them in the direction I want them to go. Each one will heal at its own pace, so don't worry about it. By the end of the second week, I suspect that most of your concerns will quieted. I am nearly a month post op now, and they are very close to normal. You'll be fine, really. There's no reason they shouldn't settle in just fine. : )

It is normal for them to look different, feel different and heal different. It is actually two separate surgeries, in a way. I didn't see many changes for the first two weeks. Then one dropped, then a week later I noticed the other dropped some. You'll see the most changes the first 3 months, then gradual changes for possibly up to a year.

Yeah, I'm about at the same stage as you are Jesse's Girl - except its my righty that's being naughty - its still high and square shaped and my lefty is low and now cone shaped. I'm also wearing the strap. I still love them even though they look a little funky - they are way bigger than they were before! I tried on bras a VS today for the first time - that was a lot of fun. I fit in the 34D's.... my left was a little loose in the cup but I didn't fret because I know D&F is a coming!!

I'm just over three weeks now and they're evening out finally, but they were all funky in the beginning! I still loved them, but at first my right one was way bigger, then my lefty dropped first and became fuller at the bottom and dangly but the right one was fuller at the top, and my nipples pointed different directions like they were cross-eyed or something. Give them a few months to settle and I bet you'll LOVE them!
