Have a bruise still. Is this common 6 weeks post op?
Under my right breast I noticed I still have a bruise. Is this common for already being 6 weeks out?
Also, does your boob on your dominant side usually fluff and drop faster than the other side? With it being your dominant side, does it have anything to do with dropping and fluffing? Also, before BA, my right side was slightly larger and after BA it's the same (since I didn't get different amount of cc's in each boob) but lately I feel like one looks larger than the other and when I measure it, one is about half inch bigger. Is that a big difference? I wonder if anyone would notice (of course I do..I stare at them) Sorry for all the questions! |

Sorry I have no idea. I never had any bruising. It's not the chacha you hurt the other day is it? Other than that I would think by now all bruising would be gone unless it's a new injury.

I'm not as far out as you, and I still have two bruises - one on my cleavage that I think you can barely see in my picture, and then one at the very top of the same breast.
How big is your bruise and does it still hurt? And yes, is it on the same breast that you injured? |

Yes it's the same boob that I injuried, but the bruise was slightly there before that wakeboarding attempt.

I had visible bruises for about 3 weeks almost a month .. and then I had the deep deep tissue bruises for even longer. I would say if it's not getting worse it probably isn't anything to fret over..but if it gets bigger/changes color (for the worse) or gets painful...get it checked.
I had an INCH difference in my boobs until just recently...out of curiousity I've been measuring in the morning and evening. In the morning they are pretty much even..in the evenings I lose about a 1/2 inch on the left side. I think this is that muscle tensing up when it gets tired at the end of the day and squishing the implant. It's gone from an inch difference to a 1/2 inch and I'm confident that will eventually go away as well. My right side dropped well before the left. Right being dominant. Hope this helps some. |

The bruise doesn't get worse, but it doesn't seem to fade much either??? Doesn't hurt and to be honest I wouldn't see it unless I put a mirror under my breast (like when I do to put the scar stuff for my incision)
thanks for your replies! |

Then if its the same boob it probably just didn't allow the bruis to finish healing. Kind of like a rebruise of sorts. I had that happen on my leg once. I don't bruise easy but a coworker had an accident and she basically pinned me between a chair and a metal table. I got a huge bruise on my leg. It was kind of small and was healing when one day I rammed into it again. It didn't get bigger but got a little darker. It took another few days to begin to go away. Do you bruise easy? Could be that. Also could it be that it keeps getting hit because of maybe your bra landing in that spot or your swimsuit? Just a few ideas. if it hasn't grown though I'm sure it's fine.

It is possible. It may be because you tend to not bruise easily like myself that it just takes forever to go away. I mean in all honesty that bruise I got lasted me well over a month. Plus your constantly squeezing that spot. Do you have arnica gel or cream? That is supposed to help with bruising as well. You could maybe use it when you massage and it might help it go away.
